Well if it's going to be this week then Thursday is the best bet. Unusual to have anything on a Friday and tomorrow is a public holiday in SA for elections

They may even wait until the next set of figures are due!

If it was just running I don't think they necessarily would. Would that be something, in isolation, to shout from the rooftops? If its up and running and pretty much at or near to the projected volume then that would be different. If that takes a week or two extra it wouldn't surprise me if they wait to announce it....they may be nearly there already??

Sorry Pshev - only just looked in here. Level 2 hasn't changed since Friday. It's 2 vs 1. No real sign of movement in either direction at the moment.

I think you are being naive WYK. If they got that thing running dont you think they'd be shouting from the rooftops, expecially after all the delays. I'm hopeful but prepared to be disappointed.Frog.

"and based on the latest delivery schedules, the team is set to conclude assembly and commissioning by the end of May 2024". So it could be up and running now. It doesn't promise an RNS straight after the "On" button has been pressed and I don't think they are obliged to do so? They might run it for a week or two or might already have been running. Frustrating not knowing but I don't believe there is a deadline for an RNS? The upgrade is set to increase copper production by a multiple of at least 5 times is it? That's a huge ramp up.

I'm presuming at the moment that 8.03 and 8.03s are sells as there are some trades going through at 8.10. How is level 2 Ant please?

If someone ever tells you that you have 6 weeks to live I presume you would expect to snuff it on the very last day of said time duration?

sb. :-) LOL. Froggers, are you Marvin the paranoid robot? To paraphrase " The first ten million quid were the worst. And the second ten million... they were the worst too. The third ten million I didn't enjoy at all. After that, I went into a bit of a decline."

I thought we had an RNS this a.m. but unfortunately it was for the stock next to jlp in my advfn monitor, Inspirit Energy. If only as that is now up 80%!

I had a dream that JLP had moved up by 106% in a day. It was so real I rushed to check it but it was a dream. Then I thought that perhaps it was just a premonition and looked to understand why. The answer is quite simple our refinery is worth 200m so the rest of the business and Tjate is in for nil at present. It would also make sense for IHC to buy our refinery as we can guarantee a flow of material to yield an acceptable return for the purchaser. The benefit to JLP would be a lot of cash to expand our ability to provide refinable copper whilst keeping the electrowinnings for ourselves.

That was an interesting piece in the link that frog put on. " Copper Barons"! Never heard of them before. It doesn't mention any names....I wonder if Colin Bird is one of them ;)

"He said IRH’s strategy was to buy mining concessions". I agree but I doubt if we would be considered a mining concession due to the highly technical nature of our processing. Would they be buying a smelter for instance? I would think learning the hole digging and extraction side of the business would be enough for them to start with. A lot can go wrong (as we know).
