I feel we may get a couple of weeks of disappointment in the share price Lack of update on Roan is really poor. Who on here really believes the upgrade is complete? And the SA election results will likely scare off investors until an alliance is formed. Let's hope it's rhe DA for everyone's sake. If the ANC team up with the EFF or Zuma's lot there will be carnage.

Sunday roast: They mentioned many junior miners.. But only mentioned one that is producing anything of significance.. us .. they said in their opinion, this could become a £1 billion company? They are often wrong. In my honest opinion, Given time, This company will become much more valuable.

Let's hope they move towards the middle and away from the populist loonies on the left. It'sa good job we are not just dependent on just this jurisdiction.

South Africa election: ANC Loses majority. Amidst Other Problems, Power cuts have caused a negative sentiment bubble.. The new coalition government will need plenty of copper to sort that problem out, not to mention the growing global population, and the move towards green Energy, patience is all that’s needed here.

7.7 is not where the bid really was at the end of trading froggers. I suspect in the absence of level 2 that just one or maybe two of the mms reduced the bid possibly just to get out of the market. Maybe ant could either confirm that or put me right. News could come anytime and I doubt that the fiasco you point up will happen again given the makeup of the current board. Please keep in mind that even in the worst of circumstances the current share price does not relate to the production levels of Chrome and even copper. Too many hung up on whether this is currently worth 30p or more in the future when they should be looking at what jlp is doing now. The future will take care of itself and sadly from mankinds perspective it's not looking all that good.

Interesting to see the fallout from BHP’s failed bid for Anglo American:

Both Anglo and BHP will be looking to enhance their copper assets and JLP could now be a potential target imo.

Cheers Ant, personally I don't believe 7.7 will hold with no news. People haven't yet forgotten the death/water/power-gate fiasco and therefore assume no news is not good. Frog

Interesting 10 minute video on CNBC on "the looming copper shortage" Its a free to air piece not hidden behind a paywall.
Have a look.
Good weekend all.

Absolutely not Frog. It's bloody annoying and a very simple thing for the company to do but we can only hope they do have it and are focussing on getting it all up and running before telling the world. I'm confident it will happen just don't know if it's going to be next week or not.
Meanwhile the bid is at 7.7p which is the low I said it would hit in the rising channel. I hope it now holds for the news but volume is terrible currently.

If we didn't get the missing part it's obviously someone else's fault. I'm sure we did though as we would almost definitely have been told. Keeping that under the hat would be far worse than owning up. There are still all sorts of things that can go wrong with stuff that others are responsible for though evn at the best of times. .

So everyone seems really happy not to find out if we actually got the missing part for Roan. I am not.

Leon did say they wouldn't give 2025 targets until Roan is complete and up and running which makes sense really.
At least #GMET is doing well. I only have a small holding there sadly but it's welcome nonetheless whilst this stagnates a bit. Won't be long now

I thought we were also due 2025 targets by the end of May? An RNS early next week might help to settle any nerves?
