Production most likely has already started but as wyk mentioned yesterday I think, Leon will most likely wait a week to make sure everything is running smoothly without any problems before issuing an RNS.

It's no good reporting the day after they start production, then the next day they notice a problem so have to temporarily stop production to fix the problem. But if the machines have been running for a week then most likely everything is running as it should.

The delay will be costing the business short term cash, but don't forget it means the tailings will last longer and copper prices may well be a lot higher when they process those tailings in the future. Although I prefer if they have already started production.

Yes frog, the timeline associated with the works ends tomorrow....they might choose to tell us how it went in the next quarterly update......due the second week of August.

I don't think there will be an update tomorrow unless they are ready to issue one (as frustrating as that may be or may not be depending on your point of view). Prior delays or not, there is a committed timeline associated with a set of works (as previously announced) and there is no timeline associated with releasing an update to the market concerning the progress on those works.

Don't get Charles and TW mixed up Pshevlin. TW is Slaters mate.
I don't think Charles will be worrying too much over this. The investment case here is compelling regardless of any possible further delay.
To be clear though, I will be very frustrated if we have to wait much longer - it's costing the business short term cash the longer it takes to be up and running. That said it may well be doing that now and we get a nice update to confirm it soon.

Never mind shevvers, as some of our rosey spec wearing colleagues in the other place say "who cares if it's another few weeks" conveniently forgetting it's already brand delayed over and over again ! Other phrases such as "in the great scheme of things" are often used. Personally I do think we will get an update tomorrow, Leon must do that to maintain credibility. I just don't think it will be the one we want. I hope to be proved wrong but I rarely am!

There has been delay frog and the frustrating part was that its caused by a component that should have been on airfreight or something to get it there sooner. By coincidence PREM have put out a project update today. It basically reads "its running...but not properly", price down 10%. I'd rather wait than have an RNS like that from JLP.
