Tintin, jam next financial year starting July 1st? I'd agree with that. When Roan expansion is complete its a massive jump. We've been doing 240t/month, this next stage is planned to take us to 1,083t/month (cu). The pounds & pence/dollars & cents margin change is exponential. Just as the next step I'd say its jam, plus some icing and possibly a fine scattering of some of those multi-coloured sprinkles that you get on a Mr Whippy ice cream.

shev

I always took "jam" to describe/relate to a bonus or icing on the cake - yes we have some of the cake(don't know how much) as illustrated by the share price, but the jam on top (20p+) ???

Jam next year seems accurate to me.

You need to put "more" in front of jam Tintin. There is plenty of jam at the moment. We just haven't had the figures, and I'm not just talking about copper. More and more jam everyday.

Not sure why there is so much angst over Jubilee and meeting targets/deadlines - it's par for the course and we should all be used to it by now !!! Roan in particular has not met a deadline yet, and in all probability will miss the next. This is Jubilee after all and anyone who takes what Leon says as gospel is being naïve - it's the jurisdiction, its S A - FFS!!

It will happen when it happens and we have to accept it.

Jubilee has a history of disappointment.

Jam next year.

I think we'll get an RNS when they are happy with progress. For me:

Equipment running but nowhere near target capacity = not complete
Equipment running and something like 80%+ of target capacity (leaving some tweaks needed) = complete

If it were me (and I know its not!) I would make an announcement when its complete based on the above definition especially if it were a relatively short extra time to do so.

But as we know, we currently don't know where they are up to but I am still 100% believer that this is just a case of "when" and not "if".

what i've not understood is how they could complete the testing of the module in february only to discover it was missing an "on" switch when it was transported. the mysteries of tech.:-)

From 18/04 RNSThe expansion of Jubilee's Roan copper concentrator (Project Roan) is set to deliver increased production during the current quarter targeting an annual capacity of 13 000 tonnes per annum of copper. Project Roan has experienced a 6 week delay in the delivery of the final electrical components. This will impact the completion of the commissioning of the final circuits and based on the latest delivery schedules, the team is set to conclude assembly and commissioning by the end of May 2024.

·from 08/02 RNS Following the revision of the project timetable at Roan occasioned by the logistical problems at South African ports, the expansion of the front end of the Roan concentrator is on track for commissioning by end of Q1 CY2024. It forms a fundamental part of Jubilee's strategy to progress production to 13 000 tonnes per annum of copper contained in concentrates.· Manufacturing and testing of the new 50 000 tonnes per month copper processing module is now completed, with the final components being prepared for transit to Roan for commissioning.· At Sable engineering designs for a new copper concentrate line are underway. With construction on track to commence in Q2 CY2024, this should see processing capacity increase to 16 000 tonnes per annum of copper contained in copper cathode and copper concentrates.

They have Pshev. The last one was due 2nd week in May but came out a few weeks earlier. The 4th Quarter is due 2nd week in Aug so maybe 3rd week in July at a guess if they keep coming in earlier than previously stated.

I completely disagree. Do you folks honestly believe they would not announce its completion after all the delays? That would be the worst PR exercise in the history of the company.
