Biden does look to be a bit too old.

Mistakes in speeches, falling asleep in one international conference. (Or was he jet lagged ?)

Putin has too much power depending on his decision. Same is true for Biden, to a lesser degree, Biden can be impeached, tried but almost impossible for that for Putin.

If Russia put a few wars ships around the Scilly Islands or the Channel Islands and landed a few thousand troops do you really think NATO or the UK would do anything about it?

Churchill knew the Channel Islands were not worth fighting for, so if Russia invaded the UK I doubt anyone would give a toss other that worthless cowardly words - "We stand by you".

Then you would have your tail between your legs.

In other words Russia hasn't annexed Crimea rather Crimea has returned to Russia where it belongs.

The MOEX Russia Index jumped more than 2% to above 2,450 on Wednesday, attempting to snap a 3-day losing streak, as the central bank opened the market further to include more foreign securities for trading.

Heavyweight energy and banking firms led the advance, with gains from Gazprom (4.8%), Lukoil (2.5%), Rosneft Oil (5.7%), Sberbank (4%) and VTB (4.4%).
