25/3/2022 16:25 | At the AGM they stated funds sufficient to run the co for several years. Fiduciary duties apply and they would need a new vote to wind up. | ![]() bondholder
25/3/2022 15:27 | Is there a risk JPM dissolves the company against the wishes of the shareholders? | ![]() hopan
25/3/2022 13:49 | Current dividend 30p. Even if you apply 50 percent discount for confiscation risk you still have a risked return of 15 percent. | ![]() bondholder
25/3/2022 13:46 | Until JRS are in a position where they are allowed to sell stocks then the correct and prudent valuation of them is zilch. Might be April 2nd before you get a true NAV figure. | ![]() dil 21
25/3/2022 13:06 | Errrr .... at least 7 stocks are being traded .. higher than our NAV ...Big problem here ..We have a major conflict of interest with NATO countries sanctions...And us Share holders ..I'm not sure how this could play out, It could be all on out side forces that dictates our value .... not good | ![]() amaretto1
25/3/2022 12:57 | Why would the NAV have changed as the ADR's and GDR's still can not be traded. Many of the other stocks JRS have, the ones listed directly on the MOEX are not any of the 33 that are currently being traded. | ![]() loganair
25/3/2022 12:56 | April is only seven days away. Then there will be a market for international buyers/sellers of Russian shares. | ![]() bondholder
25/3/2022 12:09 | Very disappointing!! | ![]() amaretto1
25/3/2022 12:02 | That was a damp squib. The nav hasn't been updated at all. | ![]() biggest bill
25/3/2022 12:00 | The MOEX Russia Index closed 3.7% down at 2,484 on Friday, as investors navigated a partially reopened market with limited trading permissions. The session saw the index nearly erase the 4.4% surge on Thursday, when the exchange resumed trading for 33 blue chips after a month long suspension. Before the invasion of Ukraine, foreigners owned around three quarters of the free float in Russia. Energy giants Gazprom (-12.2%) and Lukoil (-5.8%) closed lower as the EU debated phasing down Russian energy, while state-backed bank VTB lost 7.9%. Aerolflot (-18.2%) extended yesterday’s losses, as Western allies shut off Russian aircrafts from their territory after Russia's invasion. The airline’s shares lost over half of their value since February. | ![]() loganair
25/3/2022 11:54 | blimey .. did i say I was .. nothing wrong with holding 10 stocks nothing wrong with holding 50.. as long as you have done your due diligence and keep abreast of the story. I tell you one thing I have done. I have rung them or been to AGMs on the majority. So I feel I have done my best to get to know them. I think most investors pick stocks with a pin. | ![]() weemonkey

25/3/2022 10:34 | Well at 80% off it's pre-war (sorry, pre-'special mission') levels there's quite a lot already priced in at the moment ... so there may be a short-term trade in it to 200-300p levels even. btw POLY seems to be up over 8% today | ![]() mister md
25/3/2022 10:32 | undervaluedass - The sell price only matters if you intend to sell. Did the company tell you they intended to sell all assets "when you spoke with them"? | rob_tme
25/3/2022 10:28 | Thanks for your untold care of our wealth and sanity...Unbelievabl | ![]() amaretto1
25/3/2022 10:24 | I never attempt to make money on the stock market. I buy on the assumption that they could close the market the next day and not reopen it for five years.Warren BuffettI think it is unlikely Russia will still be fighting the Ukraine in anything like as long as five years time. | ![]() bondholder
25/3/2022 10:23 | We are in the risk business anyway being investors and shareholders wars end usually. | ![]() wskill
25/3/2022 10:14 | I rang them again. very courteous and cautious and circumspect some takeaways.. There is no "price discovery" in the market currently.. There are unknowns about the potential nationalisation of assets by Russia. (this really could happen) Foreigners cannot sell Russian listed assets ( what is the value of an asset that you cannot sell may I ask ?) Again there were quite rightly lots more "don't knows". Listen I would like to buy here... In terms of risk This is still binary in my view as in you may well lose everything. | ![]() undervaluedassets
