15/7/2024 11:05 | The company broker needs to facilitate the liquidation of some or all of Meesons shares off market. Use some of the massive cash pile or setup an institutional investor to take some or all, it’s not rocket science is it. MSI acquired 300,000 shares last week from a seller off market so it can be done. | fozzie
15/7/2024 10:40 | If they increase taxes for higher earners they will either move abroad or work less. | angus mcoatup

12/7/2024 22:23 | You’d need to increase taxes for higher earners. That’s very untorylike! | scottish007
12/7/2024 15:43 | pj A difficult one because being in CAS we do better under a labour gov than tory. I was a supporter but frankly the Tories are a mess and i pulled away during the shambles over covid. I work with labour people and i know Yvette Cooper as a friend and i respect here but i dont like giving to those who cannot be bothered to work. labour councils are a nightmare at wasting money. So back to people being short of money........... Real interest rates are above inflation and mortgage rates will fall. food inflation is weak. My plan would be stop putting up the living wage BUT give everyone 20k a year tax free. Back to jet 2.......... this has had a great week and not before time. stay safe | castleford tiger
12/7/2024 15:30 | They used to say if you did not support labour up to age thirty you did not have a heart and if you did not support tory after thirty you have not got a brain.....Just a saying. | scaff55
12/7/2024 14:32 | Tiger, your a Tory, so you don't see things like most people, I respect you and your opinions but! Confession i still do the odd shop at waitrose meanwood, mostly bottles of red. Come on j2 | pjleeds
12/7/2024 14:01 | The big issue for most people over the next few years is going to be a shortage of MONEY | pjleeds
12/7/2024 13:54 | I see the biggest issue in next few years to be a pilot shortage. | ahti777
12/7/2024 07:29 | Great Start ! | chinese investor
12/7/2024 07:24 | Up to and including the last interims in November 2023, the airbus order was referred to as 320/321. Most big orders do this and much nearer delivery they specify which model they require. However, in their Finals yesterday Jet2 now only talk of the larger 321N model, which will offer lower seat mile costs, but requires more bums on seats. I assume then that they are keeping the 738s as their lower capacity plane. | cb7
11/7/2024 19:10 | People would book earlier if pricing more realistic. Seeing drops of upto 30% between 6m and 1m ahead. Used to be other way round. | 111ggt
11/7/2024 17:25 | 147 neo A321 coming by 35 I have the figures for 5 years it’s close to 50. The only concern they flagged ( and I don’t see it’s a problem but rather a change in consumer choices) is that people are booking later and therefore maybe causing some weakness. Young people do this so we need to get used to it. Much better day but under £15 is crazy I think £18 is very fair. If you can get the recording it’s worth listening. Well done Jet 2 All the negative posters can cheer up now. Tiger | castleford tiger
11/7/2024 16:04 | I make 549p cash 44 percent . With the spend ? Is the market pricing the cash to disappear ? On plane purchase's ?Surely a Pe of 12 ? Is reasonable ? | s34icknote
11/7/2024 13:29 | I have no idea, did you mention FTSE? I should clarify, NASDAQ/S&P500.Cash | cashandcard
11/7/2024 12:42 | Really? What impact does NVDA price have on the FTSE or DOW? | trader465
11/7/2024 11:47 | It's really just an NVDA rally, that's dragging the indices with it.Cash | cashandcard
11/7/2024 11:10 | Dow and Nasdaq rally alongside S&P 500 to record highs | trader465
11/7/2024 10:43 | Nice results. Not too much in the way of an update but pleasing they are reporting and up tick in demand. Scramble to fill those extra seats they've got compared to previous years hopefully driven by the economy and not just over capacity. Would mean next year could be bumper if it's personal finance driven. | trying2trade
11/7/2024 10:23 | "Flying now" see what I did there :-) | besty46
11/7/2024 09:53 | Back over £13, that must be due to the huge shift in macroeconomic sentiment changing from negative to positive at 9:17am 🤷a Or perhaps just normal expected volatility, same, same as everyday in the markets | trader465 |
