09/7/2024 13:50 | I had mulled this for weeks and hit the button on it last week so today's price action has nothing to do with my decision but certainly makes me think it wasn't wrong of me to do. I still think they're best in class but as I've said a few times I worry about the UK economic outlook, EZY expanding into package holiday aggressively and if Jet2 can really do much more unless they open up a new market of some kind. | trying2trade
09/7/2024 13:12 | Don't you think its related to Ukraine!/Russia events . The whole sector is down | besty46
09/7/2024 12:09 | Also 2022 simular story again 2/3 through that years decline before again turning up..seems the uncertainty that just maybe this summer will be the one when the consumer crashes ..but me thinks not yet .. | snorkelparker
09/7/2024 12:07 | At this point last year we where 2/3 way through the sustained share price drop before finally turning up again ..Hope we are not going to repeat and watch this test 11 quid or worse | snorkelparker
09/7/2024 12:00 | But...last 14 odd weeks have been a stinker ..my worry is one day they will miss and then carnage.. | snorkelparker
09/7/2024 11:53 | T2T, been I this stock at varying degrees for nearly 20 years ..had many surprises both up and down.. all I know is the company is doing well and therefore expect them to keep delivering on good things. When ever I step back all I see are good things. I had forgotten about the distribution centre until reminded ..its things like that, that will keep Jet 2 ahead ..everything they do is professional and decision-making made with huge understanding of the industry | snorkelparker
09/7/2024 11:09 | Happy to hear your thoughts, it's all an education to me. Still hope this only goes up obviously. | trying2trade
09/7/2024 09:51 | Always be careful to except what the market is suggesting and sometimes go for the opposite, l made plenty here doing it.. BUY. Come on J/2.. | scaff55
09/7/2024 09:47 | Jet2 remains my largest holding. I'm just protecting myself somewhat against potential downside. I see struggles for the economy ahead and easyJet are aggressively going after the package holiday market. I question your approach as to why you think I would buy if I'm more likely to believe this goes down than up, that's not the name of the game is it? | trying2trade
09/7/2024 09:39 | trying2trade thank you for posting that you are selling. I can see the net selling giving the trend in the past few months but really the selling is due to the large seller and PI volume is not likely to touch the sides. Note JPMorgan trusts have been adding to their position despite the value falling. I question your rationale. As you believe the market is not liking the results you should be been buying. What you don't want is the market to think the results are great and they come in under. The added complexity comes from companies always underestimating numbers for the past many years. | mrscruff
09/7/2024 09:06 | Doesn't look like the market have confidence in what's coming. I sold 25% of my holding last week, I was in too much here as it was but I'm concerned I should've parted with more. | trying2trade
09/7/2024 08:15 | This needs to do a CAPITA … on Thursday | gripfit
09/7/2024 07:15 | Scottish, where can find the vid ref the distribution centre ? | snorkelparker
09/7/2024 06:11 | Jet2 results out Thursday and as this has drifted down the share price reaction could be positive. hxxps://www.jet2plc. | mrscruff
08/7/2024 19:24 | A note to add to that Scottish, I was on a Málaga flight the other day where the crew took £4k between the two sectors. Serious money so let's hope those benefits are being realised. | trying2trade
08/7/2024 16:51 | Just watched a video re the retail/distribution centre being brought in house. Would have cost a pretty penny to set up but they’ll sure reap the benefit from better product availability to increased profits. Very impressive. | scottish007
08/7/2024 16:40 | You'd have to look at the ability to do that without holding an EASA AOC. Something like going heavy at Doncaster or expanding in to Europe is really what I'm hoping from. Rinsing the current bases until there's nothing left but only reducing your own margins just to fill seats is what I fear is already happening. If it's targeted to push out someone like TUI then I get it, it worked on Thomas Cook maybe it'll happen again. | trying2trade
08/7/2024 15:12 | T2T I guess you mean on capacity limitations? Leeds could 100% if the operate a Z system. Basically bringing in 18 aircraft by 10 am and being out of the way before the early wave returns. Obviously the biggest issue is finding airframes . I still think jet2 should of bought and expanded DNS as a main base | castleford tiger
08/7/2024 14:35 | T2T, it does seem its a high bar just for the share price to stand still..solid BS solid shareholder equity seems to not count for much | snorkelparker |
