What happens when Herr Starmer and his green troopers decide to limit air travel, to one, two or zero trips a year. I'm a life long labour voter, but a massive majority worries me. J k rowing rules ok.

Very Interesting that the Police have allowed JSO to run free disrupting our motorways, inner city roads preventing people going to work or urgent hospital appointments and defacing our public works of art. Now they are clamping down heavily on protesters threatening our airports?

Wonder what the actual value of the fleet is vs the debt against it ..is there any way to even get close to estimatez ?..could be a large bit of shareholders value there not reflected in the BS ..

Jet2 's likely to make well over two pounds per share in this year ending March 2025. Current share price is ridiculously cheap IMO.

Moving on to things that are a bit more certain, update in a fortnight. It's be nice to know if they picked up any hotel capacity after the collapse of the Dutch group last month.

Well if all the ice in world melts we are in deep trouble. I think we all know deep down it wont( get it)
So youre obviouslg a brlieved of climate change so im just wondering what you are doing holding Airline shares. I mean all those emmisions those aircraft pump out.
Also I can only assume you don't drive a diesel or petrol vehicle, dont flg anywhere, have a ground heat source pump and your house is fully insulated
How is it effecting your life :-)

.....but that assumes that all of the world's ice is floating on top of the water, which it isn't. A large part of it is under water and therefore causing displacement of the existing sea level. Anybody want to take a guess at the calculation?

Betsy, The average depth of the world's oceans is 12,100 ft. 2.1 % of that is 254 ft. Close enough I'd say.

Could you show me the maths for that? bearing in mind there is only 2.1% of the worlds water is in ice .

"if all the ice melted how much would the sea level rise"
answer "approximately 230 feet", "flooding every coastal city on the planet"

Im not to sure if there us such a thing as climate change, well not for the reasons being vandued about the oress and tv. The Climate is cyclic as its proven by history.
Lets face it if all the ice in the world melted (which i doubt it will) bearing in mind the world is 70% water and it is one big ocesn .i wonder whatdifference ig would make to the sea levrl. Also considef ice has a 9% greater vol than water

You think climate change is a con, do you not watch Laura Tobin on the BBC or Sky news? The weather charts are all Yellow/Amber. In five years from now we will living in a desert in the UK. David Attenborough predicted it in the 1980s.
