Sure Jet2 have Tui squarely in their sights..but maybe going to take a whole industry downturn to shake that tree..I can't tell either of the parties apart both come across so poorly ..

Aye they're an interesting one. Chasing their expenditure rather actively so there is hope for them but any deep recession could really bite them. It's certainly the one I'd be looking at Jet2 to go after.

A look at Tui balance sheet will show simular traits to TC ..they are better run and probably have more support to stay solvent...a luxury that TC didn't have at the demise

worth remembering that period May to Sept 19 a complete stinker.. knowing all the good things that where going on at jet2 and watching 4 months of steady decline drip drip.. TC bankruptcy was pretty obviously going to happen if could read a basic balance sheet. 10 quid to sub 7.. Then finally a penny drops that there's serious value brewing and take off..if not for Covid would have been a 25 quid stock by April 20. 1 bill more market cap than where we are now

Manchester pax numbers up 11% YoY. 5.5% above pre covid levels. Anyone got the historical market cap for mid July for the last 7-8 years?

Been going through the same thoughts CT.. big update on July..If current levels of profit are maintained each year .1.5 to 2 quid per share is being added to shareholders equity..real approx for ever share of jet 2 we get about 8 quid ish of equity..TUI you get a piece of Neg equity for your buck..just no comparison in my book .

I see major support at 12.50.

The further it falls the cheaper this is on a medium to long term basis.
