"We need a new word to describe ITVs price behaviour"

What about corrupt movements?

Whenever the share price starts to make some kind or recovery, it's like someone takes their foot of the throat of ITV, only to step back on it resulting in a lower share price, when the market is up yet again ITV falls.

Yes I wonder if all the old folk who are having to stay in hospital or moved in to care homes because there are a shortage of care workers caused by Brexit, preventing them returning home, I wonder if they regret voting for Brexit now. This could be anyone of us later in life. What a mess.

Hades, hopefully people are waking up to the fact we have the most unprincipled, sleazy, corrupt government in living memory. Unfortunately there isn't a credible opposition.

Sorry but these scoundrels that promoted this catastrophe need to be held accountable.
Sorry but so furious
We had near 100 % employment so what did they think would happen when we threw the EU workers out!!!!!!

I still can’t find anywhere in the thread where someone said they have next weeks figures? I’ve just made some very simple calculations based on the publicly available data? Oh no I’m filtered? That’s heartbreaking. Best of luck to you, hope you find the answers you’re looking for!

Exillogiclad - seeing as though you seem to have difficulty reading you might need to read my post again so here it is;

‘given that we have a market cap of just over 4bn and could make c600-700m here in this FY I wouldn’t have thought the results are priced in. Current PE of 7-8 which would suggest shares are still cheap here.

Another couple of anecdotes - we should hopefully return to dividend and the advertising and marketing sector is making a very strong comeback at the moment and could potentially be a growth sector over the next few years, which would be very good news for ITV indeed.’

Where in that statement does it say I have the trading statement for November 10th? Like I said, maybe a bubble bath could help?

The ITV trading update is out next Wednesday 10th November about 8am, if he has seen them or has a link to them, I would like to see it.

Can you post the update with relevant figures AngrySharkz, I for one would appreciate seeing them.

Exillogiclad - Are you always this hormonal? Maybe a lie down might help?

There’s nothing ‘misleading217; in the figures, they are publicly available maybe you could have a read?

……although I would agree that there is no sentiment for ITV at the moment, there isn’t much sentiment for a few British large cap companies but most people would agree that they are very under valued at the moment.

Most companies trade at 10x earnings and we currently have a market cap of just over 4bn, I’ll let you do the maths.

Talk of record figures are wishful thinking, if someone on a bulletin board forecasts figures before they are released, it is nothing more than misleading and their wishful thinking.

As someone rightly said above, if the figures have been leaked and some people have those figures, the share price would show it because the money would be on it. The traded options exchange would show it and it isn't, the PUT options are not cheap.

I can assure you neither the options market in ITV have shown any buzz and that is a pointer toward there are no expectations of a 'bobby dazzler' report. The share price we can all see is as damp as a tramp's vest.

If bumper figures are announced, it will be a nice surprise to thousands of small investors who have been locked into ITV for years.

Nige - WPP have delivered there Q3 results and they were very strong. The market is still waiting on ITV.

We need the results to be strong and for ITV to make confident statements about the next 12 months….then I think we’ll see some movement in the share price
