Cautious. . GF belief in ITV recovery was built on one single premise , the bid.
If you had first followed that advice you’d be long at 120p , then 110p , then 100p etc all the way down. There is no bid , nor has there ever been a bid as I have continued to explain to you all for 2 years. And yet you want to give him credit?
Beggars belief.

By the same analogy many of us bought more on Goldy's belief in an ITV recovery and bid.

Just the other day Johnnybig and Bluelynn posted they had Itv sub 60p, I bought at 55p and up to 70p so I am ok. IMO many have piled in after McCall's gaff in 2002 when 50% was wiped off the share price, many have taken Goldy's advice and kept buying.

We will see if ITV get a boost on the 25th, but I for one look at the longterm value of the company which today looks cheap as chips.

To be frank I dont care if posts are negative or positive. These boards are full of "positive" posting simply because the poster is in love with the company or is well under water.

I do like reasoned argument and truth.

Ten minutes in to ITV's match coverage and we get a Gary Neville and Keir Starmer interview. It's more like a party political broadcast. Much more of them sucking up to each other and I'll have to switch to the BBC.

Johnny Bluelynn, good for you building up your holding in ITV.

I have many private messages thanking me for posting positively on ITV. I post on what I hear and what I know to be real. The odd post reminding investors that the share price has been a bargain for a long time and to stay long and buy if you can afford to.

I no longer post on the other thread due to the scorn and derision I get from resident looney Stansmith who along with this thread's know all ex City tea boy and Beano financial expert MatthewR regularly downplay ITV and pour scorn on my positive posts.

It's great that so many on this thread are sitting on ITV stakes at numbers way south of Friday's 83.15p close. I advised that volumes in ITV would be indicative of the stealthy accumulation by Silchester and others holding lesser stakes under 5%.

ITV will seem a gift very soon although those who filled their boots at 60p or even less are quids in already and that is great. While these were 53p and the journey to today, the bashers were calling me names I can't repeat, when we see this fly soon they will be crying in private as they see the smart guys make money..

Stay long and Buy!
