delusionforthemanyso why did you hold when rates and inflation were rising?kinda like the plebs calling for a rerate now, although argued itv wasnt rerating on the way down....could the plebs have been more wrong?

CPI for June Weds morning is forecast to be just 1.9%.
July is likely to be even lower at 1.7% due to the price cap falling 7%.

Rate cuts imminent & should be bullish for FTSE 250 stocks.

Thanks Huckers - interesting listen.

So both production studios and content libraries seem to be the hottest assets when it comes to future media industry consolidation.

ITV is sitting pretty. Keep growing both of these asset types until a buyer willing to pay a premium comes along. No hurry.

So according to Investor Relations there is a ridiculous mechanism in place where they can't buy back shares more than 5% above the prior 5 day average price. So those short selling hedge funds may be serving a purpose after all.
