So with a lack of shorters to create support with adjusting buybacks , is the asset strip and buy back from itv a surprise ? No

We don't see a valid buy call unless a trader at 56s. Even that we wouldn't have taken given the mess above

In another realm, we are actually notorious buyers, but only because we also call sell or short too

Old adage

"The money is ultimately in the sell, not the buy"

This is the problem with public forums and why most acting upon the constant buy only side, lose

A proper forum will always have shorters around as a short is in essence also a sell call

Far more important to buyers, than the buy call really

You are welcome to assume anything you wish. But if so, at least also assume 1. From where the DV were here 160s and 2. That we wouldn't reduce it or close obvious supports 😂

Suggest normal investors here do the same. We need useful ITV discussion not this constant dross.

There isn't a fund in the world looking at this seriously. Apart from ones whom it suits to feed shorts

It's the sort of mess you screen and just stick an alert on high 120s, to see if a proper buy one day

But all it is now, is shorters alerting prime prices

ITV will never be allowed to close above 86s

And 72s/75s the shorters shall commence the big build

If not already. Depends on their macro outlook prior and what will happen sectors next week

Well, when a short programme forces a plc to asset strip and spend the cash as merely a short buyback replacement , you know the top guns are on it

It also reduces the float per se, and feeds the shorters
