But the figures and the share buyback details don t inspire any confidence

No unexpected nasties in the result. Dividend maintained. Everyone knows about declining ad revenues. ITVx major investment behind us. ITVx ramp up in revues underway. Studios business strong. Eligible for BritISA. Rumours of bids occasionally. I think all uncertainty has gone here. Its solid. Why would people short or talk this down? It's pointless, and time to move on to shares with uncertainty swirling and to create fear elsewhere. This is now in the sleep easy basket. I wish I'd bought more 1 week ago! That said I'm already nicely exposed.

Hbr - take a look what the share buy backs have done there. 100s millions of pounds just chucked down the drain. Had they given those 100s of millions in dividend payments it would be worth whole holding the share.

i must admit i am also disappointed they are not cancelling the shares. An explanation would be useful from management at the presentation this morning.
