05/12/2024 23:23 | Anyone got any idea where the Tower lawsuit case is, there's been no update for absolutely ages....? | hutchmeister
05/12/2024 22:59 | Just to show some balance 8p. As everyone else will go high! Weak eletric market is a worry. Especially with that firm planning the new car battery plant. (Will that still happen?) Hopefully IQE consolidate production elsewhere too. Sure they closed one site but the rest are barely at capacity. Not sure why they need so many UK sites. Really doubt GF will bid for IQE. If they do it would be a 20-30% premium on share price. They would gut IQE and likely most of the staff too. The first to go would be the highly paid staff. CFO/accountants and execs. Should save over 1-2m. After all the supposed cost savings they have made over last 1-2 years they have gone from 685 staff to 670 staff. I get the feeling this number needs to be slashed by about a 1/3rd unless revenue increase. | guildedge
05/12/2024 17:17 | tomduck - technically, if GF bought IQE before then, they'd be delisted so the price would be zero. But at least long-suffering shareholders would finally have some money in the bank. Albeit in many cases less than they'd started with way back when. | lord loads of lolly
05/12/2024 14:31 | I'll play the forever optimist and predict they sell Taiwan for a decent (but below market) multiple and they can work out how to manufacture at a profit going forwards - 26p | adtraderuae
05/12/2024 14:18 | If GF have bid for us then 30p if not then 19p. So 19p | tomduck
05/12/2024 13:29 | 10p. Erring on the side of caution, given what happened last time. More likely though, part of Global Foundries by then. | lord loads of lolly

05/12/2024 09:27 | LTS yes, it’s now a given Micro LED as a mass adoption is multiple years away, will be niche all of this decade imo. Solid consolidation of the IQE share price, if we can get to 14p by Christmas I will be happy. I won’t bother re posting all our end of year predictions, let’s agree they are now void, but instead propose a prediction for June 30th 2025. I will go first… 24p | crosswires
05/12/2024 09:22 | Another article that shows mass adoption of Micro LEDs is one for the next decade. Hopefully IQE is still a UK listed company by then and can prosper. | longtallsally

04/12/2024 14:05 | Local incentives for the project are expected to be decided this week. The city of Greensboro will be asked at its meeting tonight (Monday, Nov. 4) to approve $2,410,711 in incentives. On Thursday, Nov. 7, Guilford County commissioners will be asked to approve incentives of $2,618,623 I guess this is the significant money mentioned as this is a few million dollars | dpmcq
04/12/2024 14:03 | That makes it a lot clearer, good post Lammergeier | dpmcq
04/12/2024 13:56 | IQE’s expansion at its manufacturing facility will take place over several years. Pennsylvania site was bought in 2007 for about $3million and they sold it for $5.5 million. The moral of the tale is that the sum of the parts is much greater than the whole and hopefully the BOD will unlock the intrinsic value during 2025 especially in Taiwan | lammergeier
04/12/2024 13:19 | The ONE NC money is only reported at 275k dollars and IQE have to match this amount and only get it once milestones met, this is NOT a couple of million? So is there more money than reported coming from local goverment as I would not class the above as significant? | dpmcq
04/12/2024 12:41 | The local Government is NOT the Chips Act, although they are stumping up a couple of million $ | longtallsally
04/12/2024 09:48 | The North Carolina site is also supported through significant funding from the local government. I read this as encouraging regarding CHIPS ACT funding | dpmcq

04/12/2024 08:21 | That's 4.6% of their Market Cap they are getting in cash for the site sale | hutchmeister
04/12/2024 07:16 | Arlet is awful and Amy slight negative results in a hammering to the share price . I see there is still an open short on iqe which doesn't bode well . Seem unable to improve profitability and having to go cap in hand to lombard is never a great sign when they get involved imo . I'll watch as wouldn't feel comfortable holding this ATM | bones698
