Article on apple insider suggests quite probable rumour that apple may still use micro led with next much cheaper version of Apple Vision Pro (mass production 2026) and then Apple Watch Ultra later that year.If so let’s hope IQE are in this supply chain.

Signs of the stock wants to bounce back after the large fall recently. All Indicators are in the right position to do so, after forming a floor on the chart and now moving higher.

Was checking through a few of my “fund” holdings yesterday and noticed that IFSL Marlborough Special Sits Fund now has IQE as one of their top 10 holdings (1.94% of the 655m fund).

Good spot Neill, IQE and their partners are clearly trying to bridge the gap to mass adoption of Micro LED which at the moment needs cost reductions and an increase in yields, the very issues that caused Apple to can their plans for use in the iWatch.

What’s critical for IQE is that this would be incremental business if they can crack it, which is what we need to see a proper re rate of the SP

To summarise the show in a short post I would say we have seen a revitalised sector focused on solving the key challenges to getting microLEDs into mainstream applications. There is a clear understanding of the application segments and requirements of the markets.

I have no idea why anyone has got their knickers in a twist but there we are we all apparently react differently.

On other news excellent to see us back above 18p.

Neill, yes there are more than a few articles by IQE telling us AI needs a serious ramp in semi conductors and that is hopefully something that will start to drop to the bottom line next year over and above the fairly lacklustre analyst predictions, which is where IQE seem to be guiding us for revenue projections these days.

I continue to believe the investment will see better days but I think the exciting times are still a year or more away.

Happy to hold after my recent accumulation and wait.
