Lol, indeed. Anyways apparently we now live in the UK under a lack of freedoms of speech, especially mild humour. As I said yesterday I can’t believe how pathetic people have become, no wonder the country is in such a state. 👋

Fortunately i find this board funny, almost nobody who invests here knows really what IQE do and that’s why you get so many posts with links to anything vaguely semi conductor related with no words attached to them, because they don’t know whether or not it’s related!

Blame the company not the poster, you may not like what Sally posts and you may think it’s moaning but she is pretty much factually correct and has clearly lost money.

I’m sorry but there are not many people who post anything relevant here and many don’t even really know what IQE actually do, if it’s that annoying just filter her. Get a grip

I think it’s strange to see Sally castigated for a very mild humorous post and more shows imo how investors here feel battered by the poor performance of the company. I don’t see why investors shouldn’t moan here about it why would you sit here praising the company. Also look around at some other boards on here, this one is very well mannered compared to many so perhaps show a bit of common sense and don’t be so quick to judge.

boboty - filtered.

For being as thick as his posts. And as a post, come to that.

To those who may be concerned I selected this morning IQE to go better from this point, naturally, my selection is short-term and on the cycles that the shares do up and down.

IQE 17.38p ( 17.34 v 17.42p )

Signs of the stock wants to bounce back after the large fall recently. All Indicators are in the right position to do so, after forming a floor on the chart and now moving higher.

boboty - Sadly I'm not prepared to waste any further time entering into a panto "oh no you didn't/did" debate with you.

As already suggested, if you don't like what someone else posts, either just filter them or suck it up.

boboty - I DO get it.

If you've read my IQE posts over the years, you'll see they haven't always been negative. But the majority have, simply reflecting how IQE has performed - particularly since 2017.

I've given grounds for my optimism/pessimism from when I first invested here. The posts may not always include external academic research links, optimistic sector overviews or cosy one-to-one chats with Lemos. But they nonetheless attempt to justify why I feel the way I do about IQE at any given moment.

I very much doubt you - or anyone else on this board - lacks the wherewithal to use the filter button on posters they've no time for. If you & the other "interesting posters" are that easily "drowned out", I'd suggest something's wrong with you rather than us.

You just don't get it. It's not his opinions that count it's the discussion/links overview's knowledge. Do your own research was always his mantra but at least his and others discussion pointed you to where to do the research and form your own opinion - obviously together with trade updates and yearly financial statements and report and accounts. Lts et al just keep saying this is a rubbish share with no discussion or argument or links or for that matter apparent knowledge. And then again and then again and then you drown out the discussion and the interesting posters give up and we are all left with Lts and her alter egos just saying this is a rubbish share over and over.

snaffleclamp & boboty - I don't recall ANY of sweenoid's posts suggesting he EVER voiced serious concerns to the company.

Instead he claims to have gone on a one-to-one tour, talking at length to Lemos, then telling us all he was more confident than ever everything was fine & dandy.

You guys really are defending the indefensible here. I'm not saying for one moment we shouldn't make our own investment decisions. Just pointing out that - for all his research & analysis - most conclusions sweenoid drew from it have been totally & utterly wrong. Beats me why anyone trying to make money from IQE would find that sort of research in the least bit useful.

At least that poster tells the Company what he thinks - rather than some on here moaning and going around in circles;

Why don’t you just publicly tell the company what you think?🤔

Grow up - make your own investment decisions. "That guy" not only had opinions but arguments and links and information - he added to the discussion. Unlike the relentless boring no news negativity from lts and her/his chums. Hundreds of similar dull opinion.

ricatcoatham - that’s as maybe. But the conclusions he drew from that so-called “intelligent information” also happened to be totally wrong.

Most shareholders are more interested in how their investment actually fares than in any wider academic big picture stuff that ends up having no bearing.

That guy you sarcastically refer to, supplied this board with far more informative and intelligent information than the back and forward diatribe that has been on this board for the past year.

Thanks for that Crosswires, yes it looks like Glasswear could be incremental instead of replacing phone revenue however it also looks like the payoff for the Micro LED is as you say some way off still. I do still think we will look back at 16p and think it was cheap as wafers or whatever that guy used to say ;) But as we can see this time round the share ain’t bouncing after the hefty fall as so often happens, so there appears to be no hurry to buy.

I think this video by Zuckerberg sums up where “glasses” will be, 2030s for it to get “big” volume wise but even then not as a total replacement for phones. I imagine therefore your “glasses” will rely on your phone for some elements, and perhaps we will see phones start to shrink in size again, so you’re not walking round with a brick in your pocket.

IAmerico admitted Micro LED has been delayed somewhat, the industry was talking about this being end of decade for volume even a year ago and now they seem to be saying 2030s.
