17/5/2018 22:13 | Here are a couple of Ocado links. Note that they use a version of 4G for robot communication. | maxwellsdemon
17/5/2018 21:47 | Believe it or not I was actually touring Zimbabwe we have invested in care and maintenance gold mines there. Bought one for 4m USD which was in care and maintenance with historic Capex of 40m and good ore reserves. It was rendered unoperable in hyperinflation and due to corruption. Bought in a Romanian operator and hope to bring it online. Has its own refinery on site. All open cast. If the econmic situation inproves post elections we will pay back our purchase price in one quater. Its our second. The first one which we aquired 12 months ago for 4m is now producing 70kg of bullion a month. I have been learning about stripping rates, mill feed grades, Lloyds Bullion insurance, how to get rid of local artisnal miners called Makorokoi. So been focused on that. No use complaining about IQE, my hope is H2 it will run back up to 180. Don't see why not. Or it could go full blown Ocado the mechanics are there for hooks law to apply. | thecrunk
17/5/2018 20:36 | Surely if the AGM includes a factory tour, the 5 new tools have to be operational? Why else would you show investors around the building. | ![]() lpavlou
17/5/2018 20:01 | Marshall Wace has a 1% short in Ocado. Thats 6.3m shares short.. at 2.50, that a loss today of just over £15m.... lovely! | ![]() owenga
17/5/2018 18:31 | btw i still have an iphone 4 works perfectly well for my needs when i was a child there was no tv, no phones, cars were a rarity we used to play in the street and steal apples from the farmer's orchard and potatoes from his field all the while listening for the sirens good times. | ![]() adejuk
17/5/2018 18:30 | sweeny it's not their pr that's wanting it's the IR remember, we own the company and we are not mushrooms. | ![]() adejuk
17/5/2018 17:28 | Fibre? What's that? We are still waiting for 4G where I live. | ![]() horneblower
17/5/2018 17:04 | Could 5G kill fibre to the home as we know it? Downunder they seem to think so. All good for IQE | ![]() grity
17/5/2018 16:44 | Sweenoid: "I WILL be bringing up IQE’s poor PR at the AGM." Good for you! Even moderate and experienced investors are feeling left in the dark. | ![]() bocase
17/5/2018 15:41 | Nicola Duke an experienced TA analyst has come to my attention today with her chart forecast on IQE. I can vouch for her uncanny accuracy as I used to follow her on a podcast each week some years ago. Anyway she says that when we get above the 200 day MA we should make it to 162p & then possibly onto 204p. (she also has some very good tutorials on TA on ‘youtube&rsquo | picobird
17/5/2018 14:51 | Ocado group up 44% today on a a new contract with Kroger. Shorts got burnt 7.17% short float as of yesterday. Just an example of how they don't know everything and same could happen to IQE. | ![]() qruz
17/5/2018 14:46 | What’s the point of buying when it drops a few pence, when you had ample opportunity to buy between 1.00 & 1.10 . For me no funds left more than overweight on this now. Generally all aim stocks suffering the same fever tree moving between £26/£30 it’s only a matter of time . | ![]() grity
17/5/2018 14:29 | Listen guys, get with the programme. When the price drops below 124, buy. Simple as that. Shorters are trying to close. share price will be 150 by AGM. | ![]() mad foetus
17/5/2018 14:16 | Can’t you go back Crunky? ;-) A few posters have repeatedly made the comment that IQE promised ‘regular’ Their REPEATED comment in the statement over a number of strands of the business was “therefore we will highlight new technologies as these reach commercial adoption.” There IS a very subtle difference What I find totally irritating is that Macom and STMicro have highlighted that GAN ON SILICON has kicked off ,in a small way to start, for RF Base stations, yet IQE as the wafer supplier has said nothing :-( , I contacted them about this and got a brick-bat. I didn’t expect a RNS , but a little PR would be in order- surely,I WILL be bringing up IQE’s poor PR at the AGM. S | ![]() sweenoid
17/5/2018 14:14 | bulltrap - exactly You know the rules of the game before you play. It is NOT a level playing field for PI's, never has been, and on the secondary market that is even more the case. So, in my view IQE at it's current stage should now seek a main market and US listing. | ![]() suffersnofools
17/5/2018 14:14 | Drop in price creating a nice reverse head and shoulders to take us to the W pattern in play. 150 by next Thursday 🤔 | pi0110
17/5/2018 14:01 | "That has nothing to do with investing in a company on the basis or financials or anticipated performance - it has everything to do with unethical price manipulation." With respect, I think that is wrong. Investing in a company is the process of purchasing the shares with the premise that they will go up (if long) in the time frame you are looking for them to appreciate in. I invest all the time, do I go through balance sheets, no, I still invest though. I'd argue investing is trading just that the time scale is different. As for dropping the price, if you can buy more at a lower price and you think that is too cheap, then the market is giving YOU an opportunity to buy value. If they depreciate a little before going in your expected direction, then so be it. Don't let your ego get in the way of capital protection. | ![]() bulltradept
17/5/2018 13:59 | No the crunk is still here. I have been on holiday in Africa not looking at internet. I will consider selling around 140p | thecrunk
17/5/2018 13:52 | bocase especially when they told us at results that we would get regular updates it's woeful and inexcusable imo | ![]() adejuk
17/5/2018 13:51 | I know little about this but I would guess that by suddenly reducing the price far enough they could trigger automatic sales due to pre-defined stop-losses and then profit by buying back at an even lower price. That has nothing to do with investing in a copany on the basis or financials or anticipated performance - it has everything to do with unethical price manipulation. MMs aren't there to set a fair price for a company.... they exist to make money from trades in any way that they can whether the price is falling or rising. | ![]() jamesrowe
17/5/2018 13:44 | Look at AAZ for manipulation, down 8% yesterday and MMS won't sell any at all. | ![]() mad foetus
17/5/2018 13:39 | You reckon that bent lot will do anything :-) | ![]() panic investor
17/5/2018 13:30 | Groundhog Day. Sainsbury's, Ocado, IQE. They can drop the price but nobody sells. Drop it far enough and the buys come in. All set for the big W? Chart playing out beautifully. | ![]() mad foetus |
