While the BLG-300 installation has slowed some of the industry evaluation progression, BluGlass and Lumileds agree that the Phase II Collaboration is making steady progress. This and the IQE collaboration will again be expedited with the upgraded BLG-300 starting industry work in September.

Having sold 50% of my shareholding at 49p ahead of results not long ago, to bank a good profit, I am going to hold on at the moment ahead of these results which, knowing my luck, means the shares will fall tomorrow!! I obviously hope not.

Like a few others, I have sold 60% of my holding at a 400-500% gain (patience paid off) but still kept a reasonable amount after seeing IQE featuring in funds like Marlborough UK Microcap where it is now the largest holding.... I'm sure Giles Hargreave has conducted his detailed analysis as usual and probably knows more than we do.

good news if you are holding (like me) is there seems to be plenty of selling which always leaves space for upside. WB 'the stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient'... hope he is right on this occasion : )

It's tricky, IQE clearly have a strong future ahead of them, but I halved my holding today because I'm not fully convinced the trading update tomorrow will be as spectacular as people hope. I'll see what the numbers look like tomorrow and if I like what I read I'll jump back in. I'm slightly worried the directors will conservatively say 10-20% improvement and those who expected a 200-300% profit improvement will dump stock.

Out of interest just looked at who else is reporting tomorrow, and since I expect IQE's statement to be very positive and newsworthy it's great to report there will be little distraction from other reporting companies

There is a trading update at Halfords

Interims IQE, Cairn homes, 888 holdings
Finals Alumasic, A&J Mucklow, Redrow, Mattioni- Woods and Craneware

I am sure that a very nice optimistic statement backed up with news they are beating analyst estimates should generate at the very least some news flow. I don't know much about the other companies but can't believe that they will generate anything too exciting:-)

Like many others, including those who are long, the shorters will have a cascade of conditional orders in place to react tomorrow morning, whichever way the price goes.

Dow closed today. So no effects from over the pond to kick markets around between now and Results.

Buyers now nibbling on the dips, let's hope for no unpleasant surprises as share price is priced to perfection, either we jump nicely or go back to test support at bottom and of the up channel at around 100p, hopefully not down to chart support @ 66p, if the latter, I'll add a couple of shed fulls!!

To support Sweenoid`s lobbying I wrote this to the company earlier today and now find that they won`t even allow Paul Scott to attend.

Many thanks for your earlier reply.

Tomorrow you have big day : another milestone on the company`s journey. I have a fair amount of my life savings supporting you et al in your exciting "adventure".

At some point I understand that you have a conference call for a select group of cognoscenti and I would ask that what they are told is made available to all of us. Some things do need to be kept secret and they should remain in house but for the rest there should be a level playing field.

I do hope that IQE will strive to be transparent and helpful to private investors on a par with "the city"

I look forward to your announcements tomorrow and a bright future for you all and my family.

I have a feeling that the recent Trading Update showed only 70% of IQE real potential.
IMO many more surprises will be given tomorrow which will pleasantly surprise in the upside. I really don't want to be in shorters shoes as many are playing the roulette.
