08/10/2014 13:32 | Excellent find Super. Surely RB Energy will have to mothball the iodine site also. They haven't got any funds! | ![]() captain_kurt
08/10/2014 13:20 | Now let's see what happens to the iodine side, as RB just threw all the cash they had into the sewer. Massive payments to make near term and the iodine side has $40 mill of debt on it's own. What a load of BS that RB team push out. Saw it all when they ran Sirocco. I hope Canadian investors have the sense to steer clear of Orca gold where that team have set up in another venture. I doubt anyone will fall for it again like when Kinross lost $6 billion on the back of those folk. | ![]() superg1
08/10/2014 13:19 | Bakken- Houston-based Marathon Oil president and CEO Lee M. Tillman said Thursday that the company will continue to expand its U.S. shale activities in 2015. Tillman said Marathon will be boosting its presence at several shale plays across the United States including Bakken, Eagle Ford and the Oklahoma Resource basins. Marathon has grown its U.S unconventional proved and probable resources to 3 billion barrels of oil equivalent across the Oklahoma Resource basins, Bakken and Eagle Ford this year, up 20 percent over 2013. “We’ve been aggressively conducting pilots and delineation drilling across our three U.S. resource plays to test downspacing, enhanced completions and co-development,̶ Marathon expects resource play production growth at a double-digit compound annual growth interest from 2015 to 2017. The company also expects total production to grow over the same period. Marathon has increased its future drilling inventory to 4,650 net wells. Marathon will undertake initial acceleration of three incremental rigs, one in Bakken and two in Oklahoma, by the end of 2014. The company expects further acceleration in 2015. Tillman said the fast-start rigs will help drive development in the South-Central Oklahoma Oil Province and the STACK shale play. Marathon will also ramp up its efforts in Bakken to drive high density development into 2015. Tillman said Marathon expects to release further details about its 2015 activities in December in conjunction with its 2015 capital, investment and exploration budget.” | ![]() serratia

08/10/2014 12:21 | Madchick 25710 re 'stabilised' comment, I think it's a poor choice of words - it just means that the various hurdles and potholes experienced since the 40t peak in Spring have been sorted out and the plants are working up to their expected capacity. In fact, to be more accurate, average production has to ramp up very significantly (from 28t to the high 30s or 40s per month) in order to hit the 2014 production estimates they reiterated in the last RNS (330-350t). | kattatogaru
08/10/2014 12:20 | che7win 8 Oct'14 - 12:04 - 25708 of 25712 2 0 Oh dear ACT, Since your last post IOF is up 25% and TUNG down 15%. Stick with your football predictions mate. Do you want to confirm that che7? | alphacharlie
08/10/2014 12:20 | Look Aaron, I'm not William Hague. It's not my role to provoke you into taking this over! | arlington chetwynd talbot
08/10/2014 12:17 | Was it definitely a sell from Stena - the RNS says reduction, but the prior holding is maintained as 0 which is, i hope, clearly wrong (so could "reduction" also be wrong?). Right. Switching off now. | ![]() madchick
08/10/2014 12:07 | Maybe someone else got it before him. That blasted Helium word once more. On that front Mr B.... Those 3 Japanese looking folk at the helium auction are in fact confirmed as Japanese. They were not their to bid, but to observe, which they did and they were taking notes. I have managed to get them down to 2 possible companies they are connected too. I understand the US has just started to appreciate the potential and value of helium investment. Let's hope IOF are sitting on a big helium asset, there is a fair chance they are. EDIT One contact said they were probably Nippon Sanso ( a guess), someone else said they were definitely ?????? which I won't share,. | ![]() superg1
08/10/2014 12:06 | I thought it was strange in the last RNS that they claimed that production had stabilised (I guess they actually meant will not fall from this point on), since the rates have been fairly erratic. I assumed this was because they didn't want to say how well they are doing in the next few months (I can hope!), but maybe they'd met some internal definition of stability? | ![]() madchick
