You guys are slow.

I was hoping there would be a post by now from Mr Stena saying-:

'Ha ha fest you bought mine at 56p'

Just joking Fest :-)

Hopefully that is them done.

For some reason it won't let me post the link to that interview, is this some new ADVN policy?

Two links; the first is the Proactive interview, the second is IG. It's the Proactive one you refer to. The other's worth watching too as at about 26 seconds in, the interviewer states the share price has consolidated at about £44.00 - good old IG nice to see them on the ball - bring it on.

No idea, so many rumours float around in the market on many shares, about 0.5% are right it seems.

It could be a fund getting a chunk knowing Stena wanted to offload some.

Exactly as posted the other day, someone may have seem the permit as a chance to offload in numbers.

Equally posted that funds hunt behind the scenes for their shares, the retail market is the last place they look, they want the bulk discount warehouse.

Just a lot of things said in recent times, and the odd strange wording that is intriguing.

Thanks Battery it saves me hunting for the figures.

There was an unknown buyer on the 60's climb too, over 1 mill were bought that way.

The 3.12 notification assumes all bought by one buyer, so we'll have to wait and see.

I've no idea how accurate the prior holding is, the records are not always up to date.

Well it explains the supplier and there was a buyer too, if Stena have stopped we'll soon see over the next week or two. There may be some loose shares still around to clear out, but it should be obvious if the supply dries up

Super Re: post 25681

In Tom Becker's last interview he also stressed the world wide term at 5.24:

'I look forward to the challenge of taking Iofina to the next level as the leader in iodine worldwide'

You are all asking the wrong questions.

Here's the right question;

If this is so good, why is Stena selling millions of shares at 50 odd pence?

Also, it has rather conveniently been suggested someone approached Stena, how do you know it wasn't the other way around?

Lastly, why didn't Aaron Banks simply buy the Stena shares?

Basic question: are the trades that make up Stena's sale and the associated buy published anywhere?Battery: the amount sold doesn't all have to go to the same buyer, IMO.

Apologies in advance if I've missed something here as I may not be up to speed but how do we know Stena have sold them to a single buyer? It looks like they sold them into the rise on the open market....

Battery

The line in the rns re 'the world leader'. I did ask if that was a typo, as it was a very string comment to make in light of all that has gone on.

the answer was 'no it wasn't'

Potentially, going on the vast list of rumours that have been around for months (that never get mentioned), I personally consider, that rns may be the start, or part of someone talking a stake in IOF. for reasons other than a profit from the future share price

I didn't realise it's just a smidge under 3% and that tends to throw fuel on that fire. So if right, it's the start, not part.

It could be just a find grabbing a chunk, but see my previous posts.

DYOR.

The number Stena sold is around 3.8M shares which would equate to just below the 3% threshold if the buyer didn't have any before the deal.

EDIT - sorry wrong numbers used and reading through phone.

Accurate numbers - Stena have sold 3.12% to new buyer so even if they didnt have any previously they've transitioned the 3% barrier now. New holder Holdings RNS on the way then.

Yes CK

10, 9 and 8 breached, they could have waited for 7.

When funds want a chunk they try the back door first, however I'm not convinced it's a 'normal' buyer.

They may have already bocker.

Yesterday I was told unknown seller, and unknown buyer. There are some things that have never been posted here, and the move is intriguing.

Personally I think Stena have been approached for them. Couldn't give a damn what 'the balcony' thinks of my view they don't know what I know.

I spent the weekend trying to work out some confusing info which didn't stack up, if it was on the right lines, it makes perfect sense now.

I suspect Mr B knows, but won't be able to comment, other than a 'ho hum' of course. No I don't think he is the buyer.

I suspect they have stopped, otherwise they would have delayed informing Iofina of their percentage reduction.

Now if Super's rumour is right, the share price should build from here
