27/5/2015 11:12 | it seems the only one that is consistently right about iof is the one we all have filtered? | neddo
27/5/2015 10:37 | speechless, | neddo
27/5/2015 10:04 | Excluding impairments jb had a $4m loss and I had £3m loss, so he wins by half a million bucks, well done mate, I'll buy you a pint. | arlington chetwynd talbot
27/5/2015 09:58 | Super In the heading you quote someone in the co. Saying in October cash was increasing. Surely that must have been a lie? Who was it? | freshvoicem
27/5/2015 09:51 | So let's see, Graham predicted a profit, bogg1e predicted breakeven and I predicted a £5m loss. As the loss is £4.3m I guess I win. This company is challenged and the narrative is wrong. | arlington chetwynd talbot
27/5/2015 09:44 | I did say it would be later in week. I did say yesterday with the afternoon sales that news had leaked. Super said it was weather warnings. Sorry to see the old filtered ACT was closer to cash result than all of the experts here. Thought cash was supposed to be increasing. Thoroughly p...sed off today. They need to go and find a brewery to practice on. | freshvoicem
27/5/2015 09:38 | Yes it looks like a kitchen sink job IMO... I can sell 70K in one go at full bid price... someone thinks we have hit the bottom anyway...GLA NAI | cyberbub
27/5/2015 09:35 | It looks to me as though the new board have thrown the kitchen sink in here. Ground clear for 2015 and onwards. AGM should be very informative. | rogerbridge
27/5/2015 09:27 | 50,000 trade at 31.9175 | iofra
27/5/2015 09:08 | The bottom line is we are hurting from lower iodine prices which have declined from $45 to $30. The comparison with last year shows this. The figures H2 haven't shown the deep cuts in admin and increased efficiencies because of the declines in iodine H2. It hasn't been helped by io4, 5 and 6 not being in ideal locations. If/when iodine does rise, our slight loss on operations will show strong exponential growth in profit. To be frank, right now we aren't seeing the expected upside on the iodine plants we have because iodine prices are so low. I do note Supergs comment of $20 costs, that is good in mitigating the iodine price falls. The company also thinks iodine prices are stable. 2015 will show improvement with the increased efficiencies plus io1 shutting down. They are EBITDA positive, but really, we need iodine prices trending up from here to complete our transformation. That can't be far away with most of the industry suffering. Water outcome not far away, if positive outcome for us we are well on our way to recovery combined with strong growth. | che7win
27/5/2015 08:59 | Churlish reaction/manipulatio Obviously well on recovery path; maybe some don't realise how much there was to repair 12 months ago... | napoleon 14th
27/5/2015 08:56 | Green Day t-shirt will be there! | 1madmarky
27/5/2015 08:53 | It will be interesting to hear what else comes out at the AGM - time for another little jaunt to London I think! | tackems
27/5/2015 08:47 | Yeah…if I had any money left…. | peterz
27/5/2015 08:43 | Am happy to be able to add sub 32p though with water new close. | jbe81

27/5/2015 08:36 | Feels a bit like we are finally saying goodbye to our annus horribilis with the issue of those results. Time to move forward. | woodpeckers
27/5/2015 08:32 | Was waiting to try myself, but no real drop. | jbe81
27/5/2015 08:29 | Well no great shocks as far as I can see so looking forward to the water news. | woodpeckers
27/5/2015 08:24 | I feel this is our nadir here,by the time of AGM we could have some pleasant news.aimo. | deadend
27/5/2015 08:19 | btw The broker has just said costs per kg currently around $20, which fits in roughly where we thought it would be at. Could do with io1 moving to one of those sites they mention which will bring it down further. | superg1
27/5/2015 08:13 | jb They drop it but try and get them at the price, I couldn't. | superg1
27/5/2015 08:04 | I'll leave the figures to the accountants, but just a quick point. Cash was up in H2 by 750k. There is also 628k of net receivables which gets cash to around the 7.5m level. So much to read there and digest, it's going to take a few goes to cover all the points. Things on the future side that caught my attention are the numerous iodine sites, and it looks like they have found some high ppm sites better than those already in the pipeline (mention of it an current leasing to secure it). Water discharge permit was renewed (phew) and something clearly in play there and of interest to partners. Clear comments about that virtually unique aspect. The mention of submersible pumps for Atlantis also adds fuel to that fire. So some digging there now we know it's a genuine consideration. One thing that did puzzle me was the rights of way/leasing comments. That's already done and can be viewed on-line, rights of way and leasing ('possessory interest' as they call it) from part of the application process. I'm wondering if there are other sites in play. | superg1
27/5/2015 08:03 | Massive drop on paltry volume... | cyberbub |
