11/5/2015 08:35 | Results should be as predicted for year end - they would not make delay just based on water -whats the point. Unless significant post balance sheet event. | octopus100
11/5/2015 08:32 | These are audited results. Lets hope there has not been a hitch in signing them off! The delay may of course be about water and the future, but on any measure, the BoD have not acted responsibly. Announcing a delay without a reason for the delay puts investors in a difficult risk management position and is unacceptable given the wobbles IOF have had in the past. | ridicule
11/5/2015 08:31 | No excuse for this, it's a poor statement.Presentati | che7win
11/5/2015 08:29 | They've been nice cheap shares for an age roger, I'm not sure as an outsider I would see this as a positive for buying in. | uppompeii
11/5/2015 08:24 | Some nice cheap shares for some, I would have grabbed a few more but I am fully loaded here. Nice if you have the spare cash. | rogerbridge
11/5/2015 08:20 | You don't spend a year working out to get rid of your flab so that you can ask the attractive girl out, then after a year when you feel you are really ripped ask her out, and then the day before the date say, sorry I just need another 3 weeks to work on my abs. | jasisdad
11/5/2015 08:20 | I suppose that the future expansion depends on the water approval and the result is needed to decide on plan A or plan B. Fast or more measured. Still bloody irritating, they could have planned the results for beginning of June and issued an rns when the water application hard need approved. That would have been win win. Not impressed. | rogerbridge
11/5/2015 08:19 | od Why bad. Perhaps the bureau have said we'll have a result for you shortly and IOF as we know, think they will get the permit, that then opens other doors. That's my view, I should just join the doom brigade then buy on the drop. The good old uncovered T trade folk got done again and I have no sympathy for them. A bet gone wrong that they were always going to close tomorrow, so now I and a few others will pick up their shares. | superg1
11/5/2015 08:17 | cyberhub, I wouldn't say 605k traded in the first 15mins is low volume for IOF, and only 1 T trade has closed and 5 have opened T trades so far... | barrywhit
11/5/2015 08:15 | What some folks may not realise is that IOF were potentially been coming over here straight after the results. IE they would be here now for presentations. Perhaps they have been given a nod on the timing of the water result, who knows, but it would be nice that any presentations had answers about water instead of the balls in the air. | superg1
11/5/2015 08:13 | I assume they knew what a reaction will be on the market. So there must be a substantial reason for a delay. good or bad? More probably bad. Why bother if good as it would just build a momentum. And there are many news that I feel are delayed btw. Without any explanation. And that is a problem for me. Delay without explanation and clearity is bad news or bad management in my book :( | odvod
11/5/2015 08:11 | Hmmm bad time to be late looking in. However just heard the nomad says nothing up just timing. T-trade exit as always due to the expiry dates. The ones that were looking to cash in tomorrow. Personally I thought the 12th may have been a heads up on when the HE would have completed the final order on water. | superg1
11/5/2015 08:06 | This delay is annoying but surely not worthy of a 12% drop in share price? After all we (more or less) know what the results will show, breakeven or a small loss, it's all about the future now.I suspect it's just T-traders closing in a panic. Lowish volume reinforces that theory.GLA NAI | cyberbub

11/5/2015 07:57 | Or is it a good opportunity for the new advisors to get their clients in at an even cheaper price pre all the good news coming | jasisdad
11/5/2015 07:54 | Look I am a big fan but this is not a company without blemishes on its record re forecasts and delivery - in this case I think they have been poorly advised. Yes it is almost certainly about the future and yes the coincidence of dates re finals and water permit decision is unfortunate but you do not delay the finals because of that and certainly not with as short an RNS as this. The Institutional presentations could be delayed or rewritten so don't really buy that one. | wizard2020
11/5/2015 07:43 | It's not about the number of RNS's, it's about presentations to Institutions. They clearly have an expansion plan that is partly dependent on the water deal (and upfront funding), but cannot prejudice the outcome by announcing it in advance of the decision. IMO, it's not about last year (results) - it's about this year and next (expansion). Best wishes - Mike | spike_1
11/5/2015 07:43 | I hope and presume it is something we are waiting on either water or strategic review (which I hope it is) but surely it would have made sense to issue the results by the date advised and in the results RNS state news on these items should be imminent. Not a delay RNS with a fob off to say they need more time. If more time is needed then the internal process/systems worry me. | jasisdad
11/5/2015 07:40 | Mad, I'm led to believe each RNS costs around £300 to publish, so no, wouldn't break the bank to have done separate ones. | battery
11/5/2015 07:39 | madchick 10 May'15 - 22:28 - 32339 of 32344 1 0 "Let's hope all becomes clearer on Tuesday!" Not. | monkeymagic3
11/5/2015 07:37 | Would that not tie in with the water permit decision..... | barrywhit
11/5/2015 07:36 | I think it would have been best just to stick to the original deadline even if the results on their own aren't anything to shout about. An extra RNS (or two - one for water news, one for strategy) for "something else" wouldn't break the bank (I hope!). | madchick
11/5/2015 07:36 | ..such as the final outcome of the water hearing..?? | battery |
