There are some weird figures (weights) that have appeared on the India import site and at cut prices.

Although RB is dead they got an extension with the last death twitch to be the 27th May, so I picture them shovelling the iodine inventory into bags, and shipping it off to India. I think their scales has been repossessed. My estimate is that they had 400mt of iodine left in the inventory, so a bit of a fire sale going on.

If they don't get rid of it, then Tewoo would get their hands on it due to up front secured payments (for lithium).

I can find no details that the iodine mine has been closed but it seems likely under the circs. My guess is that they stopped when the rain hit.

RB have stopped releasing news it seems, they should have done when they failed to find any interest at all in the extended bid period.

The info is on the KPMG site, they are the monitor. RB have not reported the news in this link.

All but the CEO have resigned.

This is the news comment they released.

The Company has developed an alternative course of action to attempt to obtain value for its stakeholders prior to the maturity date of the US $13 million "Debtor-in-Possession" loan ("DIP Loan") of April 15, 2015.

It failed (as per the KPMG link) and they have not updated the market.

I keep updating the header btw as and when I find details.

I will add in the date and time of any changes at the top.

Some of it includes estimations based on comments from IOF, either from news, interviews, or comments made in presentations.

Given all the circs of the market and potential IOF growth then yes it seems this company is a very good bet.

Small caps have been abandoned and cash is king with many funds. If the blind just look at figures (the vast majority do), then with the $15 mill that went quickly, software, and a glance at that would have those that only rely on that jogging on at speed.

It still gets called a natural gas company. If I see those words I don't look at a company either.

If they keep on the current path it will have it's day once more but on the back of production and growth.

It's not a business that is trying to get costs down to match competitors, it's starting below most of them and probably heading for the lowest cost producer worldwide.

If they get the strategy right (I'm sure they will) then they won't be talking about being the lowest cost producer as it will be in the figures.

Che

Chinese and what looks like 86% of shares tied up with main holders explains it for me. I doubt stock on loan will be available.

It will be interesting if they ever need to fund raise, some whopping discounts would be needed.

But in truth it looks like a fraud, and it beggars belief that the FCA haven't suspended it.

Superg,
I can only assume with GATE, it is being lifted by the Chinese boom and its Chinese investors boosting it.

As I said before, surely a short, but it has risen since.

Can anyone explain Gate ventures.

They have a ridiculous MC and have released news stating just that, warning investors to seek expert advice before buying their shares.

What a mad market.

The market capitalisation of the Company as at close of business on 28 April 2015 was approximately GBP64.9 million and is therefore not necessarily reflective of the Company's position or prospects.

Persons wishing to undertake transactions in the Ordinary Shares should therefore exercise caution and as appropriate consult a person authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (as amended), who specialise in advising on the acquisition of shares and other securities.

the only investment Gate has entered into is an option agreement to make an investment in a theatre production of up to GBP300,000 as announced on 27 March 2015.

Cash £2.8 mill
