06/4/2015 20:22 | German: They are a competitor - read the header! or: Sirocco RB Energy A company that planned 2000mt plus, but never got there. They stopped supplying the market in H2 last meaning they had an 800mt inventory this year. They cut production due to a high cost system and now forecast 1200mt production rates. Due to the inventory build up they supplied the market at record rates this year, but it is a temporary supply bulge due to the inventory build up. They had sold over 1000mt by the end of Q3 this year. They sold a total of 478mt in 2013 and 1226mt in 2012. The company, due to it's lithium side is in serious trouble, under financial protection from the courts. The company is highly likely to go bust early this year. The first court protection deadline is 30th April. | ![]() spike_1

05/4/2015 20:00 | The null feature tends to be applied well after cases are concluded so we are unlikely to have that as an early warning, however..... | ![]() superg1
05/4/2015 16:47 | Well, we will know a decision has been made, unless the page shows up as null because they are tweaking the website again, of course :-) So, maybe we will just know that we won't have the foggiest what's going on! | ![]() madchick
05/4/2015 16:45 | No, it's not showing null. It's just that if you open the page (which is currently still as it was a month ago), the standard bit I've quoted from the website is at the top. I understand this to mean that once the application is accepted, the application page (which we've all been looking at) will show up as null (or if it is rejected, for that matter). Thus, once the page disappears or comes up null, we will know a decision has been made but won't know what the decision is. That's my reading of it. | ![]() madchick
05/4/2015 15:06 | If you think its currently showing null, think again. Try entering number as 30066181 | ![]() naphar
05/4/2015 15:04 | Madchick, right. Why? | ![]() naphar
05/4/2015 13:59 | I think I extrapolated that from the following on the application website: If "get status" is bringing up "null" for data, the pending application has either been issued or terminated, denied or revoked | ![]() madchick
05/4/2015 09:08 | I've been away but skim reading on my travels. I thought that when the water got approval, the application website wouldn't get updated listing it as granted; the application would merely disappear from the website (as it's not longer an application)? I'm sure I read that somewhere?? | ![]() madchick

04/4/2015 13:20 | It's already in play Sandbag. EG Bancorp have already given evidence, so all well and good until you realise the person linked to that company is Sebastian Pinera a former Chile president. Some of the companies have released news in response to the listing. | ![]() superg1
04/4/2015 13:09 | I think that is just the bribery type offences. There must be some tax evasion going on too, you can probably guarantee it. Cosayach managed $82m US worth which is under investigation currently. I'd be amazed if there isn't a decent amount that SQM have avoided by some means. | ![]() superg1
04/4/2015 13:09 | Hell's bells! How long will it take for the authorities to interview every one of those? | ![]() sandbag
04/4/2015 11:42 | That looks to be pretty endemic. And if proven will seriously damage the company, quite a little soap opera going on. | ![]() 1madmarky
