30/3/2015 08:39 | Hmmm I think one of my children is giggling secretly they've done something to the auto-correct. Some interesting words appear as I type. | superg1
30/3/2015 08:28 | Dafad Within 90 days from the closing brief date of 6th March. I have looked a few up and 6 weeks seems to be a common time period. | superg1
30/3/2015 08:23 | What dates were they, as I had comms with one CEO over the weekend who bought in what he called one of the brief opportunities that appear. The OBT guy said that too, "forever in a ?????? closed period" were his words Directors buying is not always a good sign and often done when share prices rapid slide as if to shore up the share price The market can see right through that. Jeff (now off the BOD)and Lance have millions of shares anyway. They are keen investors and it's far easier to deal in shares in companies you are not it. Check out QMC in the US I tipped that they should look that up due to the disparity between Nano here and the MC of that one with a similar product. They liked it and it jumped 7/8 times in a short time. I believe money was made. | superg1
30/3/2015 08:11 | No Directors buying outside of the closed period I think he means. | infoisrealnot

30/3/2015 07:49 | Interesting and how will TW feel this morning now QPP have been offered over £600 mill for their professional services side. What will be the fall out from all the lies. The events, and now seemingly false reports, were catching the attention at government level. | superg1
29/3/2015 22:03 | Sg, directors are not buying. Tells the real story here. | muffster
29/3/2015 21:41 | Blimey 26 votes, DYOR, Superg has given you his reasons. The balance of probability is way in favour of approval. Nothing is certain but if you're that worried maybe shares shouldn't be your focus. | serratia
29/3/2015 10:23 | Interesting for those that follow graphite/graphene | superg1
29/3/2015 09:57 | 5 votes up. It just shows the tension of some, why they invest in the AIM I don't know. YES just like the IOF lawyer I think they have no option but to award the permit if they stick to the law. That doesn't mean there isn't a 1% chance that you have an HE that makes a mess of it and it gets turned over on appeal. As pointed out. Wildcat have a permit application in and now so does a farmer for a change of use to sell to an oil company. If they support Carlisle it means no other permits of any type should be awarded in the area, as they can all buy it off Carlisle until his allocation is used up. He can charge what he likes. That's his argument based on false information. So yes I'm confident the permit will be awarded, but numpties seem to be on a bit of a population explosion in recent years. If it was 80p waiting for water news I can appreciate the tension, but at just over 30p knowing good news is coming on the core business, why stress about it. | superg1
29/3/2015 09:52 | If the water permit is awarded, I really hope they separate it off to form a completely new company, I'm fed up of feeling that what could be a great asset is proving to be a burden. | woodpeckers
29/3/2015 00:17 | Thought you were CERTAIN the water would be awarded, it has to be by the state laws? | freshvoicem
28/3/2015 22:42 | Fresh All I'm doing re how much is in the bank is piecing together the information. Interims 30th June cash $6.27 mill 6th October they report 2013 revenue exceeded and beyond $20 mill in total In this interview (4 minute mark) it's stated they are sitting on about $7.5 mill cash, what isn't said, but may have been said in presentations at the time, is that they had short term receivables of up to $2 mill. So 7.5 mill to 9 mill is a fair guesstimate. 13th January 2015 They report that they estimate 2014 revenues will be more than 35% higher than 2014 (18.8m). So in excess of $25.4 mill for 2014 v 18.8 mill for 2013. So in short H1 6.27 mill in cash Q3 7.5 mill (1.23m increase from $7 mill revenue, BUT, talk of up to $2 mill receivables due) Q4 over $20 mill mentioned 6th Oct then over $25 mill for full year. So in theory more to add to the cash pot. Hence I'd say no less than $8.5 mill in the bank and possibly $10 mill. Net loss H1 $1.3 mill. We already know by Oct they had added that amount in cash. So yes there is a very good chance the cash is healthy and a profit to report. In May they started to slash costs and in presentations it was said to be something like $2 mill of cost reduction. So I'm happy to forecast $8m to $10m in the bank and potentially a likely profit report. It's a case of reading the news and listening to what they say. MR market (although they have been told) in a falling price sector will assume greater losses in H2 than H1, so full year losses increasing. I love the fact that the market and analysts are clueless otherwise it would be pointless putting the effort in. If they have had a good Q1 15 there will be more cash to add on top of that. Personally I don't mind the low 30's it's nice taking them off the seller bit by bit knowing that good news is coming. News that has been around for months, but no doubt will catch Mr market by surprise. So the water permit would be nice and will probably be awarded, but if it isn't and the news is pre year end news. I and others may get cheaper shares knowing that good results are on the way. | superg1
28/3/2015 21:09 | superg1 28 Mar'15 - 09:38 - 30997 of 31008 1 2 Where did you go, Amsterdam? :-) Maybe Bogg1e's pad. --- Ha! I was in Amsterdam last week. You've been scrying tea leaves or summat? :-) | bogg1e
28/3/2015 20:04 | I was mentioned but I didn't want you thinking it had some significant achievements in the last year to justify being a winner etc. There are well placed with low capex but they need sales traction. The one major concern is where they are. | superg1

28/3/2015 11:28 | Thanks for the update SG, I read through the posts as well. Some frustration about but I am sure the picture will become clearer. It certainly does not look good for most of our major competitors and I should imagine that our strategy may have been tweaked a little since production problems at competitor operations have arisen. I am pleased that we have not panicked to publish our strategic review due to the above. Management have to plan ahead but also react to new opportunities that present themselves. With the coming mayhem for some of our competitors, IOF may have an opportunity to increase long term sales and at a more favourable price. That is once we have satisfied the requirements of our fantastic chem division. My wife wrote her car off but luckily had few injuries so I took her for a weeks sun in Tenerife, well that was the plan but the weather was quite windy, cool with some rain. It has been the coldest winter and spring over there for 25 years. It did not stop us having a wonderful time and to be greatful for being together and in good health. | rogerbridge
