King Roster - a perfect summary, especially for the (core) iodine business. It will be interesting to see whether these three are separate or combined news items.

Hopefully, SG you are wrong about Tues next week (for purely selfish reasons, I would like to do a Bed and ISA on Tues) - but anytime from Wed onwards is just fine.

Some volume I guess will be bed and ISA, once the tax year is out of the way we can see where it is at, but regardless of that I think good news is coming.

If anyone bought any cloudbuy as tipped recently you should all be in profit. Please DYOR I have no intent of digging too deeply into that one, I'm far too busy on IOF and a sleeper. I have followed Cbuy for some time and the timing looked right the other day.

I understand it's well bid atm but as I say, DYOR.

2 votes down and it's up over 40% :-). It's all about keeping track of companies and timing.

There is a future flyer sitting there unnoticed by the masses with product potential beyond anything I've ever seen on the AIM (if you understand the company). What I haven't got a grasp of yet is how many can get into it, patents, deals etc etc etc. So far they seem to be a very shrewd team.

Wizard, we should get

quarterly update (production)
annual update (accounts)
destiny update (strategic review)

Wizard that was the general indication when they moved away from monthly updates, so yes I imagine around 100% of investors are expecting an update on Q1 production within about 10 days. My best guess would be Tues/Weds next week.

OK I am not renowned for patience but I have been here. It is now nearly 3 months since an RNS from the Co do we assume that there will be a qtly update within the next fortnight?

Morning all.
Looks like a quiet day in the office.
Large iodine buyers must be getting concerned about the situation at SQM and elsewhere.

BTW this link as in a recent post is a report by Ben Isaacson. He was the one asking difficult questions in SQM conference calls in the past. Two have stepped in for him in recent times. He's a commodities specialist with Scotia bank.

"It never rains but it pours" may well be an appropriate idiom for SQM at this time.

Just when SQM thought it couldn't get any worse.

Don't forget they spread some common costs across their products.

Oh Macca, I thought you were talking about someone that may have a clue. In that case forget it. I filter the thread leaders and that makes the whole lot disappear.

I wondered why it was so quiet on Cbuy then realised they were on a thread created by N3 so I had to unfilter him to get access to it.

But thanks for pointing it out, what a ridiculous comment, there are some strange folk about.

Well its been a while since I last looked at this and thought i tuck up some more for this year's ISA . At this level I am not complaining !
I am happy to accept they will get the water , which is not priced in. I reckon this qtr's production guidance when it does come during April will be pivotal. Just hope in their forthcomming RNS there will be info on a potential JV . The CEO said this year will be one for strategic growth. Just wish he can put some flesh on the bones as far as engaging with the market is concerned !

SG , its been suggested on the other thread that the heavy rain is actually beneficial to the miners (free water for leaching etc). What do you think ?

It's very clear to me genuine prospects and shares prices don't necessarily combine. It's a simple case of buyers or sellers regardless of what is or isn't said.

But thinking long term it's paramount to have a genuine revenue generating business hidden behind all the sparkling lights and bunting.

It's no use taking a front see to get a stage front view, you have to go behind the scenes into the rubbish bins to get the true picture, as that is where lies.

I do email them all so it cuts out the libel type claims.

It's hard to challenge such comments when all I do is provide them with contradictory statements and comments from their own releases or websites.

On the list so far is GDL, SQM and RB energy, GDL and SQM engaged initially but has their replies blown out of the water and since then both stopped replying. RB unsurprisingly don't, I did get one reply when they were Sirocco, and what I said would happen did happen. The VP said I was wrong (ALP stuff).

I did get one 'threat' from a bio company when I posted their reply, about confidentially of what they sent. It showed they were lying and I pointed out they had no disclaimers linked to their replies T and C etc, so to sod off.

There are a few more hiding things but those are current 'rows', they have stopped replying. Significant matters no longer revenue generating/collapsed deals and they haven't updated the market. The PIs are wondering why the share price is falling and isn't reflecting the positive spin previously put out.

Now I'm waiting for a fund raising which they have suggested isn't coming, worded in such a way to make investors believe that.

So when I say lying crooks, it's not a wild accusation, but careful timing knowing the evidence is there to back it up.
