12/2/2015 09:03 | You're such a tease SG! ;) | woodpeckers
12/2/2015 08:42 | Just as a marker so I can come back to it. I have noted a significant comment by someone other than IOF, which may explain the length of time to complete the strategic review. In my world of theory it seems like potentially exciting stuff. Sorry it's just too brain scrambling to post (meaning probably 100's of posts by many), best wait to see what happens, I know how keep a rough eye on it and will report back. I'll be keeping a close eye on any IOF comments in news. | superg1
12/2/2015 08:35 | Could be left overs on the books. I had 75k shares as a figure and expected either an end of day off-load or early today. Could be traders though, cashing in, although it was all a bit swift yesterday so maybe not. | superg1
12/2/2015 08:33 | Lots of sells at the moment, three blocks of 15k? | magwich
12/2/2015 08:29 | Just waiting for the 10 and 20% folks to do there thing (if they do). | superg1
12/2/2015 08:25 | Let's flush the sales out and hopefully move up the next leg | stevo2011
12/2/2015 08:15 | picked up a few more this morning - seemed churlish not to. | spike_1

11/2/2015 20:43 | Mag If you want a load of new shoes and handbags littering the new house, with diamonds dripping off every limb then go for it. You'll have to hide any new golf clubs though, and will have to stick to srixon not titleist, | superg1
11/2/2015 20:39 | Jeez The RB lot sound like the Quindell stories I have read but in gold mines city folks will understand what they up too far netter than me. Orca gold on the TSX and the current RB team, was originally Cannaco the errm current RB team which prior to that was shark minerals, the ummmm Current RB team. Along the way they keep acquiring themselves fund raising as they go. A wedge of cash follows on from older exploits, I assume fund raising. Then there is this one Vancouver-based Canaco was one of the stars of the junior mining world in 2010 after it reported some spectacular drilling results from Tanzania. However, its Magambazi gold deposit turned out to be much smaller than hoped, and the company was largely forgotten by investors. “It was a bit of an ugly duckling,” Mr. Clark said. Now that rings bells. So the world renowned Red back team are not quite what they see,. Failure followed by failure, followed by red back being sold for billions with the new owners feeling they had been done over and had to write down 80% of it. Then comes Sirocco, a failure, and the cash raised there plunged into RB energy, a failure. Gawd help the investors in Orca gold. I think I know what is going to happen, fund raise cash in bank and a possible T/O of anything else they invent and own. They were never interested in iodine at all, I did say the aguas mine was dumped on them, it was just a money recycling game to them. "We are not intending to be long-term iodine producers or industrial mineral producers," concedes Clark. "What we are looking to do is maximize the value of this asset over the next 12 to 18 months and use it as collateral to leverage into the gold business." | superg1
11/2/2015 20:37 | Y1phr, Are you sure, our top bear expert thinks differently: Heartwell - 06 Feb 2015 - 08:22:40 - 29459 of 29641 End of next week reality will kick in. Sub 20p | che7win
11/2/2015 20:21 | 40p tomorrow. | y1phr
11/2/2015 20:09 | So tempted? In-between houses at the moment with £198k sat in the bank. Mrs Mag would never forgive me if I lost it, but what would she say if we had £396k to spend next month. Oh well I can dream. I do have 28000 of these beauties. ;-) | magwich
11/2/2015 19:48 | So does that mean their new start up Orca gold actually is a part of Sirocco. They raised money for Sirocco gold which is them as an asset to seek out gold mines in Africa. They raised money to do it, they gave themselevs 20 million shares in Atacama. No wonder they won't reply. | superg1
11/2/2015 19:42 | ooooh I missed that little gem from 2011 "We are not intending to be long-term iodine producers or industrial mineral producers," concedes Clark. "What we are looking to do is maximize the value of this asset over the next 12 to 18 months and use it as collateral to leverage into the gold business." "We are very fortunate that Rick and his team have joined Atacama," said Lukas Lundin, Atacama's chairman, in the press release. "Their significant experience and proven track record will ensure that the Aguas Blancas mine attains the world-class status it deserves." HA!!!!!! There is no mine "Along with the fresh faces on management, Atacama plans to buy Sirocco Gold, a private company created by Red Back's former executives to explore gold prospects and acquisitions targets in West Africa." So the team moving into Atacama, had called themselves Sirocco gold inc as if it was a gold mine in west Africa, but all Sirocco gold inc is, is the team. So that team dished out 20 million shares in Atacama minerals to acquire themselves. Is that some sort of legal loophole or plain old fraud. There never was a mine, what a bunch of ...... | superg1
11/2/2015 19:25 | Doh RB haven't replied yet re the missing gold mine. The company monitoring them has and they have forwarded my query to RB. I didn't think it was that difficult to answer. IE Where is the gold mine that Atacama (Sirocco mining) gave 20 million of their shares for. You know the one, the private gold mine where all the shareholders are you guys. I can't find any details about it pre the deal, and nothing said of note since. It also doesn't seem to be listed as an asset in the current bidding process. Where is it, does it exist, you raised $60 mill on the back of it. | superg1
11/2/2015 19:19 | I put it down to a load sitting on hands thinking it's a stupid price, waiting for the water hearing date to get nearer. The the main spike is down to the seller stopping imo, and those sitting on hands reacting when the price started to move. What I don't get is why the 800k short didn't fill their boots at 30p to get out while the supply was in play. That now needs another strong supply to close and plenty more sitting waiting to buy. I'm not sure there was much trader interest. Talking about that... Odvod. Your Ichimoku chart jobby has gone mad today with bullish signals and a breakout on the closing price. So a buy for those that follow charts. ?? Senkou span cross Strong bullish Chikou span cross. Tae kwon do and origami. | superg1
11/2/2015 18:38 | alphacharlie, post 29615, the Japanise are rumoured to be buying Old Kent Road for redevelopment. Brown turning to purple what a nice colour, reminds me of iodine. Seriously, there have been a lot of investors waiting to buy but not knowing how low IOF would go. Some made the decision today that it was a good buy even without any guarantee on the water side. | rogerbridge
11/2/2015 18:30 | Still here and read when i can. Big thankyou (again) to you SG for your efforts and to everyone who contributes constructively. I am sure I am one of many lurkers... you guys are not alone. | phsycho
11/2/2015 18:18 | Dearest Mr Heart, Hope you are - well Just wanted to say how disappointed I am in your prediction. I was waiting for your 20p price ! Where is it !?! The shareprice is going in the opposite direction !! needless to say I will not be listening to you anymore. I'm finished with you. Yours faithfully, Netley Lucas. | 18081
11/2/2015 18:07 | che I've been tracking trades and behaviours for a few weeks and posting about a supply. The heavy selling was the start of last week, 2.5 times buys. The 10 ish to 12 ish selling pattern had been going on for a while, with some end of day stuff early on. The 10 to 12 ish block selling happened today too, but it was looking like the end of the supply which I have to date as around 1 million from the same seller. My guess is those sells are the same buyer that bought that amount in the 60's when we had that strong run to that price level. I hear the selling started mid Jan which was swiss franc time, so maybe that holder hit troubled times. Just trying to make guess on the back of old and new events. The pattern changed early this week, so personally I thought it was time to get some more based on iodine alone and not considering the outcome of water either way. I was half expecting an end of day balancing of books that may have pegged it back slightly, but no sign of that it seems. Let's see what happens for the rest of the week, but due to the decent move, I think any peg back will now be met with decent buying. I don't think it's anything to do with shorts closing, just buyers that had been sitting on hands, and stock suddenly becoming tight. | superg1
11/2/2015 17:58 | Surely just people speculating on water outcome ? | dcgray21
11/2/2015 17:44 | takeover in the wind? | woolybanana
11/2/2015 17:33 | This move is beyond usual trading. | kaos3
11/2/2015 17:29 | Octopus, That's sounds fine to me, the move today was significant, I don't know if we can put this just down to traders. There was a lot of strength into the close, pent up demand or something more significant, we will have to wait and see. One thing is sure, the deluded plums (bears) have totally misread events IMHO, just hope they didn't force out genuine investors below 30p. | che7win |
