13/1/2015 15:19 | ACT What's all this about drinking pints in Lancaster. You must be a miracle man to achieve that! Your glass is always 'half empty'! | ![]() ridicule
13/1/2015 14:32 | And I have made out of this previously FYI | stevo2011
13/1/2015 14:30 | Nelly b - I've had various email exchanges with lance over 2014 with regards to questions and answers I require otherwise I would have sold up. Like wise I am intrigued at the lengths some go to see this company fail. I've been building up stock and will do at different news flow outcome and the next will be water news. | stevo2011
13/1/2015 14:18 | Signs of compression of the share price 50p to breakout, but today clearly wasn't the day. | ![]() brucie5
13/1/2015 14:15 | stevo, that sounds quite sad, especially if you haven't made a bean out of the ups and downs of the share-price. | ![]() nellyb
13/1/2015 14:15 | I gave up some time back trying to correlate SPs to the potential and revenues of a business. I can find business with no revenue and high risk with nothing but hope with MCs in the 100's of millions. Then the opposite end, 2 companies in the same sector the one with no revenue and no products launched is 3 times the MC of the one with 10 products. In one case the MC of the company is less what they pay the managers, with chair estimating the future value of the viable business as 50 times the current MC and I can see why he values it that way. If he is 90% out it's going to be a good share to be in. Typically I'm looking at the unloved shares and some the market just seems to have missed completely. As I'm finding with one, if you don't check out what look like casual comments then so much can be missed. More on those companies when the timing looks right, meanwhile I'll leave them to their quiet, backwater, no interest, haven. | ![]() superg1
13/1/2015 14:09 | Some would say you were obsessed with this share :) | stevo2011
13/1/2015 13:57 | Nice one Meb, sow the seeds of doubt but claim to be a bull. You remind me of someone???? The avatar spelt a word backwards? It'll come te me, it always does... You see I read every post and sometimes something just jars. I like my bulls bullish and my bears bearish, ones like you are crafty ;)) | arlington chetwynd talbot
13/1/2015 13:57 | It might not be a bad idea to concentrate on expansion of our chemical plant, making sure we produced enough raw iodine to satisfy the chemical plant's requirements. | ![]() roundup
13/1/2015 13:56 | Anyone got a broker update? | ![]() muffster
13/1/2015 13:47 | Nice positive RNS which puts IOF on a firm footing going forwards in 2015. I guess the next RNS would be about the water permit . I still feel we need more clarity on what they mean by strategic growth ( more mobiles ?) and whether they cash flow positive now. If its all good on those fronts , cant see why they want to withold it from the market. They did say they want to maximise shareholder value . | ![]() meb123
13/1/2015 13:03 | Che ....And all for a market cap of £43m | ![]() dcgray21
13/1/2015 12:41 | If we can only burn £380k in 2014 first half, and we are cutting admin expenses second half, it won't be hard to be cash flow positive. All bodes well for this year. The metrics are all moving upwards, despite the business progress having setbacks last year. The bears have nothing to say about the transformation in the business last year. Still on a learning curve, but: * Raw iodine increased by a like-for-like increase of over 90%. * Growth in spite of fracking disruption, * The Company expects to produce 220-260MT of crystalline iodine in H1 2015 from its existing IOsorb® plants. * Revenue in 2014 to be over 35% higher than 2013 Revenue, in a year when iodine prices fell more sharply than expected. * Strategic growth expected in 2015. | ![]() che7win
13/1/2015 11:38 | Look Joe, if this makes $1m next year it will be exceptional because you've always made losses bud Doesn't mean you go up, you'd need to make around £4m just to stand still. That's not going to happen. | arlington chetwynd talbot
13/1/2015 11:38 | Hard to see how any other chemical derivatives producer can compete with Iofina. Alot of eyes must be on Iofina this year, and not only from Chile and Japan imo | ![]() captain_kurt
13/1/2015 11:33 | "Bears are in a losing argument. Reduced fracking means more Iodine production." And well shutdowns mean less brines, and reduced fracking means less wells. What's breakeven? $40 in your areas? They'll not operate at losses like you do. pmsl They make money LOL Graham x You up Lancaster anytime soon bud? Pint in the Boot? ;) | arlington chetwynd talbot
13/1/2015 11:31 | Surprised we have not maintained the early rise considering the statement: "Through improved plant efficiencies and strategic growth the Board expects 2015 to be an exceptional year for Iofina and looks forward to updating shareholders on progress." | ![]() joeblogg2
13/1/2015 11:26 | Super, that's pretty impressive | ![]() captain_kurt
13/1/2015 11:20 | SG cheers for your reply to my little question. | bogg1e
13/1/2015 10:33 | If you divide that revenue by the amount produced they have a chem div revenue rate over $75 per kilo of iodine produced. | ![]() superg1
13/1/2015 10:20 | Gad Re your iodine import observations, yes it does seem that there has been a slight price tweak upwards. I have checked exchange rates to see if they are the reason, there is nothing material on that front to support the apparent small tweak. I'll keep watching as Q1 into Q2 is the normal iodine buying season. | ![]() superg1
13/1/2015 10:15 | "Superg has been proved right on all counts so far. Well done to him." Erm, have you suffered a stroke or something Joe lad? You don't remember all those fantastic numbers in the header long since shamefacedly removed? Who the heck are you trying to kid? His forecasts have been absolutely atrocious. The truth is this is still a stinking loss-maker and if you make any money next year it will be tiny and won't even justify a MV half this. | arlington chetwynd talbot
13/1/2015 10:15 | KR In addition to the line you mentioned it also says 'Through improved plant efficiencies and strategic growth the Board expects 2015 to be an exceptional year' So clearly some plants more plants or pods will appear. | ![]() superg1 |
