13/1/2015 08:01 | Fortunately ACT's 20p seems amiss! | ![]() bocker01
13/1/2015 07:53 | Richi II must have explained that one a dozen times. The date that goes in the hearing box is just to fill the box. The bureau does that with no consultation with those attending. A pre hearing also fixed with no consultation takes place for all to attend (ring in) and discuss points of the case and a date suitable if a hearing is to go ahead. The initial rule for a hearing is 90 days from the objection period end, which is before the end of February. The chronic problem with water supplies is the frack disruption as the operators use the produced water. The plants are not at their maximum as the fracking continues but if you compare frack disruption to many months back then the water has increased which is a result of the extra wells. They said some time back they had buyers but not the iodine. Clearly from sales, it looks like they are selling more or less everything they produce. | ![]() superg1
13/1/2015 07:48 | Well spotted King_roster. Strong hint there that there are more on the way. | ![]() woodpeckers
13/1/2015 07:45 | Interesting that they describe the Feb 19th date as "tentative". Also, it seems that there is a chronic problem with water supplies, which really needs sorting. Whether this is via mobiles or riding out the aggressive fracking which should slow down I don't know. But it certainly seems that the current plants are reaching their maximum. A forecast of 220 mT which is only a 30 mT increase on H2 2014 considering all the problems and disruption. Is poor. Saying that, this company probably has a share price that reflects this, and by all other standards is showing Nice growth in revenue and production. | ![]() richi_rich13
13/1/2015 07:44 | Bears are in a losing argument. Reduced fracking means more Iodine production. Good trading update. All the metrics pointing higher and more to come in 2015 | ![]() captain_kurt
13/1/2015 07:44 | $18.8 mill for 2013 meaning $25.4 mill in revenue. They reported the $20m mark had been passed at the end of Q3. I was expecting $22 to $23 mill | ![]() superg1
13/1/2015 07:43 | THe unexpected increase in revenues will of course significantly increase the 7.5 million cash we had in the bank when last counted. Expect the roll out to recommence in Q2 on a large scale! Solid foundations and going up! | ![]() bocker01
13/1/2015 07:42 | Interesting use of the word "existing" iosorb plants. Looks like we may get some more in H1. | ![]() king_roster_iii
13/1/2015 07:41 | Wry chuckle at "Iofina, specialists in the exploration and production of iodine and iodine specialty chemical derivatives, is pleased to provide an update to the market today on performance over a transformational 12 month period for the Company" It certainly has been transformational as a shareholder this last year, in a bad way for our wealth! I wish they keep their feet on the ground for all our sakes! Dibbs | ![]() dibbs
13/1/2015 07:38 | Oil heading for $40, operators already discounting. Your brine supplies are in danger of being turned off. No mention of that though. Good luck, you are going to need a miracle. I wouldn't be so sure there's no funding coming your way in the finals. You will make a loss and you have debt. Not a good recipe. The idea of business is to make money, you had a boom to do this, you couldn't make a cent out of it all despite hundreds of thousands of ramps to the contrary. Give this lot credit? Make some flipping money you dolts! | arlington chetwynd talbot
13/1/2015 07:36 | ACT what a sad life you lead | ![]() monet
13/1/2015 07:36 | Act readCrystalline iodine production remains on track to meet year end forecasts of 325-350 MT in 2014 and the Company continues to implement operating procedures to improve efficiencies and reduce costs at the IOsorb(R) plants. With the recent dramatic drop in oil prices the Company expects to see new drilling in the USA to decline in 2015. However, the Company continues close discussions with operations partners and does not expect any reduction in operations of current oil and gas wells in the Company's operation areas which provide brine to the current IOsorb(R) plants. The Company does not expect any material impact of lowered oil prices to iodine production at existing plants.Your continued smear campaign is tiresome . Good to see QPP yesterday smack the drunks. | stevo2011
13/1/2015 07:35 | Would have liked to see some news of when the strategic review is due. But I suppose they are waiting for the water resolution.Otherwise a good update IMO | ![]() cyberbub
13/1/2015 07:34 | The cash cost of running these wells means that a large proportion of the worlds supply will be shut off elsewhere first. You really are full of more brown stuff than the average oil field ACT. | ![]() bocker01
13/1/2015 07:32 | And don't forget, with oil heading for $40 and operators already discounting, there is a real danger wells will be shut-off and your brine supplies will be severely impacted. No mention of that though. | arlington chetwynd talbot
13/1/2015 07:30 | Excellent positive sounding update! Any company that can claim a like-for-like increase of over 90% and year on year revenues over 35% higher in a sector where prices have plummeted is definitely doing well! They seem very positive about the water situation and good to see them able to use the phrases "transformational 12 month period for the Company" and "the Board expects 2015 to be an exceptional year for Iofina". Well done chaps! | ![]() woodpeckers
13/1/2015 07:27 | To achieve 35% revenue growth seems pretty good to me, especially as they were 25% ahead when they told us a few months ago. They achieved the full year iodine production target. They are learning how to forecast and avoid disappointing the market. 90% growth in iodine output should mean improving margins, as they are producing 90% more of their key derivatives raw material, for a lower cost than buying it in. 2015 expected production from 6 existing plants not setting the world alight, but they are being more realistic in their forecasting and should not disappoint at that level imo. like many a school report, good effort, as always could have done better, but lots achieved in 2014. | ![]() naphar
13/1/2015 07:22 | Hit the target so about time some confidence was restored in this highly undervalued share which should have more confidence-boosters to come very soon. | ![]() senden11
13/1/2015 07:20 | My Arlington, you are very harsh with this company! There was I thinking that is very acceptable, no dilution and a hefty lump sum in view when the water hearing takes place and the price of oil to go up in the future like it always does. It does look to me that they have set solid foundations for the future. | ![]() henry9th1
13/1/2015 07:19 | 2 with out water! | ![]() bocker01
13/1/2015 07:19 | Second half will be solidly profitable due to the cost reductions. Sets us on course for 600 to 700 tonnes this year or more as the minis and another plant come into play with external sales of 400 tonnes giving an additional £6m on the bottom line with a full years operating efficiency. Looking for £7-8m in 2015 bottom line doubling annually for several years thereafter with new plants and increased sales on the back of a hardening iodine price as the Chile closures set in. Three year pe around 2. | ![]() bocker01
