14/9/2020 13:55 | I bought 2 months ago but was thinking I could sell my existing shares to pay for new ones? | ![]() tygarreg
14/9/2020 13:43 | IF bought today, nothing If bought on 11th and sell today then you should get rights BUT make sure with your broker as record date might cause delay/problem etc. If bought today then normal buy/sell ALL IMO | ![]() demo trader
14/9/2020 13:40 | Do we need a reminding that IAG has not released equity to pay debt, it's to strengthen its position in the market. IAG will gain considerable market share when this pandemic stabilises. Notions of this share price going to 80p is bizarre and scaremongering. This will be a gradual increase to mid 200's | tiananmen
14/9/2020 13:36 | You should contact your broker to make sure. I THINK you can sell now & you have the rights. But do phone your broker to be sure rather than asking on a chat site. | ![]() ducky fuzz
14/9/2020 13:34 | Anyone help please. Do I have to hold my shares at close today to get my rights or did I qualify for holding them this morning? | ![]() tygarreg
14/9/2020 12:46 | Apologies for all the typos. I have fat fingers literally...... | ![]() spacedust
14/9/2020 12:45 | Yes pandemic will eventually eventually eventually eventually be managed. Define eventually and then put s tume limit to it. Right now pandemic isnt managed and will get worse towards the end of thus month it will get even worse in ocotber snd then further deeper in November. The winter months will br catastrophic but once this hits 60p anything south of 60p is worth holding onto until the share price gets to 600p | ![]() spacedust
14/9/2020 12:40 | Logan....then don't touch it . | ![]() m1k3y1
14/9/2020 12:30 | How can IAG be a long term buy? 1. BA have already acknowledged that they have permanently lost some of their high margin, high profit corporate passengers. 2. BA have already acknowledged they are going to have to fly more low margin, low profit tourist passengers and take on the likes of Easyjet, Wizz and Jet2 which they are not built to do. 3. This is why IAG are so desperate to get their hands on Air Europa, a low cost carrier to Central and South America. Therefore it seems to me IAG is a 'I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole' share. | ![]() loganair
14/9/2020 12:16 | IAG price + IAGN price = 139p +78p (approx) I bought them at 172p. I either sell 7500 rights and leave 5000 shares or pay for 7500 rights at 84p. ALL approx. and IMO | ![]() demo trader
14/9/2020 12:15 | At 140p the market cap is £7bn. It was less than £4bn on Friday. | ![]() lyndon b

14/9/2020 11:55 | We might see 60p, but I bet that gap closes first. 195p target. | hodhasharon

14/9/2020 11:30 | Thanks, I think that's it Lyndon B. These are not the same at our usual nil paid rights, where one nil paid share gives you the right to subscribe to one fully paid share. Instead... "2 subscription rights are required to subscribe for 3 New Shares." | ![]() typo56
14/9/2020 11:18 | Typo, not exactly sure but read elsewhere, the nil paid rights will trade at the market price of the shares minus the rights price *1.5, for example(137 - 85) * 1.5 = 78p | ![]() lyndon b
14/9/2020 11:01 | I don't see that at all. The Pandemic will be managed and airlines will get flying again. MY guess by next summer aircraft will be carrying full loads again. IAG will agree new Pay with their employees and that will save the substantial sums of money when they get back to running a full operation again Of course, until then, IAG will be burning cash, as will other airlines. | ![]() m1k3y1
14/9/2020 10:59 | There is a difference between Rights & placing Space. | ![]() ducky fuzz
14/9/2020 10:52 | Almost every share that has had a rights issue the share price always falls below the rights issue price. Here some examples before i get done for being a deramper...... Glencore 118p rights issue few urs ago but then crashed to 55p Lloyds government back rights issue but now.look at the share price 25p!!!!! Iag will be 60p its more or less a gurantee. | ![]() spacedust
14/9/2020 10:44 | You could sell the IAG shares you own. | ![]() ducky fuzz |
