It depends on the share price
If there is a strike then the share sharply fall in the short term
I don't think the union can win a strike:-

1.Given the amount of cash that IAG will have in the bank following forthcoming share issue.

2.The state of the airline industry at the moment

3.The plentiful supply of trained replacement cabin crew available - given the redundancy across the sector

4.The deal B.A has done with the pilots

Also B.A has still has got its very profitable and valuable slots from Heathrow

I have a question though for everyone on this BB.

With Walsh leaving in September, would you invest in IAG with the new CEO.

In other words, if you were looking for a company to invest in, and Walsh wasn't running IAG , would you choose to invest in it ?

Possible strike action action, just shows how stupid these unions are, 8 months ago greedy pilots turned down 11.5% rise, now some will be stacking shelves in Tesco's.

buywell has never said anything at all about IBM ---

Your attention to detail is abysmal and you have thus have zero credibility with buywell who crosses you off his list of 'responses to' and places you in the buywell Nob Box.

I believed in Buywell when he predicted lower peice in IBM and when he told us that he wants to help Joe public to invest in right share. I am still waiting for his tip. May be very long wait.

Start of the year in January Air bnb was valued at $30bln, expecting to IPO at a valuation of $18bln.

Air bnb are losing money and it seems to me the reason for their IPO is to raise much needed cash also some of the initial investors wwant out. IPO may also be because these investors know things are not going to get much better over the next 6 months or so and therefore Air bnb's valuation is likely to fall further if remains in private hands.
