12/3/2020 08:26 | And while this is the only airline flying to the US at the moment from the EU, at least there will be more bums on seats, while movement between us and Europe still intact there is likelihood that some benefit will be created through onward travel, on the basis that stringent checks made on passengers. Customs will have plenty of time to check passengers! | ![]() bookbroker
12/3/2020 08:25 | Lol 30pc in a day? Why not! | ![]() dround87
12/3/2020 08:24 | depends what Boris does i guess | ![]() spob

12/3/2020 08:21 | Space - why do you think the Qatar Airways now owns 25%, because they will ensure the stability of this airline, never will drop to 80p! | ![]() bookbroker
12/3/2020 08:15 | 80p in April 2020. Non execut8ve directors who bought at 557p looking shtttttuuupid | ![]() spacedust
12/3/2020 08:10 | What time will Boris make his statement ? | ![]() spob
12/3/2020 08:10 | This move will weed out weaker airlines .. like Norwegian | ![]() jailbird
12/3/2020 08:04 | Yes, spob, I’ve said that. But there are are a lot of travellers who use Europe as a hub to fly transatlantic. They now can’t. They only have one option in Western Europe now. Heathrow. Read my post. | ![]() smithys2019
12/3/2020 08:03 | America is not that stupid. If you've been in europe in the last 14 days you will not get into the USA | ![]() spob
12/3/2020 07:58 | Spob, they will be. But not from Europe. A lot of transatlantic business is done the rough european hubs from Rest of World. A. Lot. Middle East, even Far East, plus loads from Africa too. Dublin is not exactly huge and what’s the point? No decent club/first lounges. | ![]() smithys2019
12/3/2020 07:57 | Hard to tell, but yes in the short term Heathrow will certainly act like a Dunkirk for the US Overseas Expedition. | ![]() hamhamham1
12/3/2020 07:56 | people will not be able to fly through the UK to bypass the ban | ![]() spob
12/3/2020 07:54 | Dubai, London and Dublin...?? | ![]() alphabravo321
12/3/2020 07:52 | Once this settles In, this could well bounce back today and here is why. Trump has effectively shut CDG, AMS, MUN and every other major transatlantic European hub for the next thirty days. Crews flying from european hubs will typically live in European countries, shutting down European operations. Anyone wanting to get to the USA now from the Middle East and as far as eastern India now have 2 options. Dubai and London. Oh, and transatlantic trade originating from USA. He has effectively focussed the traffic through BA. Oh, with over 2 million NY passengers a year, it looks like Norwegian is toast. | ![]() smithys2019
12/3/2020 07:51 | Whatever. I'm looking for a good deal with a long term view. Don't really care what the bottom is. But I want to hedge through the travel bans and all the rest of it. That's just common sense. | ![]() dround87
12/3/2020 07:44 | Guessing targets is impossible, why 2014 and not 2012? New investors may want to see the pricing level out first? (Stable pricing over time is a better indicator than a target IMO) | ![]() hamhamham1
12/3/2020 07:31 | Annoyingly I think it's perfectly feasible! Don't think I'll buy this week. The plan was always to let coronavirus get fully settled before committing my 2nd 3rd. Otherwise I lack the funds to effectively hedge. | ![]() dround87
12/3/2020 07:29 | Undoubtedly going to be a rough day today. Be interesting to see the market support... We will get an idea of how much backing IAG has across the market. My view, obviously down. 315? Have to see. Will be buying in hard if it gets that low. Trump has created a crisis in the USA by completely ignoring the issue. His country, with no centralised or nationalised healthcare system and no means of testing widely means they are going to be in a bad place. How many American pensioners will be able to afford 5000 dollars to see a specialist? His cuts to state healthcare spending will be directly responsible for a very serious toll on the USA population. | ![]() smithys2019
12/3/2020 07:24 | 350 bid placed | ![]() nw99
12/3/2020 07:24 | I see Trumps playing the ‘blame game’ again. | toon1966
12/3/2020 07:05 | Will we see NY Boy et al here today with their 'buy' nuggets of advice? | ![]() hamhamham1
12/3/2020 07:00 | yes Trump last night and maybe Boris will do it also | ![]() spob |
