Smithy, major investors are going into cash, and others who are selling are being forced to because of their exposure to various positions. Every sector has gone done, that means the good is being forced to be sold with the bad.
Companies are tapping their credit lines and grabbing the cash whilst they can.
We are so early into this still.

MOSCOW airport empty, wouldn’t put any money in IAG as it stands today. More bad news and travel crackdowns to continue for next weeks, no recovery until these governments start to lift the movement of people. UK crackdown is only just about to start

In the United States a passenger on Jetblue aircraft diagnosed with coronavirss and aircraft was stuck on tarmac for over 2 hours.

When the other passengers where disembarking they were told they are OK to go on with their lives as normal which the passenger says is ridiculous and they do not know what to do because they are not being given professional advise.

Emirates, the world’s largest long-haul carrier, expects further flight cuts after the coronavirus outbreak was declared a pandemic and more countries restricted travel.
While the Dubai-based airline has significantly reduced passenger flights this month, “more cuts will likely follow as we review the latest situation,” Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said in an email sent to employees and viewed by Bloomberg.
The airline plans to cut unnecessary spending, while encouraging staff to take annual leave or unpaid leave, Sheikh Ahmed said.
“In some cases, the best way you can contribute is to stand down and stand by to return with vigor,” he said in the message.
Emirates halted most flights to China, where the virus broke out, and suspended operations to Iran after it became one of the biggest centers for the outbreak. The carrier has also stopped flights to Saudi Arabia, its biggest market in the Middle East.
“On the bright side, our cargo business is doing well, and we see strong demand in some markets and industry sectors,” Sheikh Ahmed said.

Intensive Care Units in the North of Italy even with extra beds and hallways full, are packed like a tin of Sardines. Basically the Italians are totally overwhelmed. Medical staff are suffering fatigue and catching the Virus too. There have also been reports Dr's are now being forced to choose who they treat and who they turn away. Who gets to live and who doesn't like in a war.
