130 is on the cards if not lower. Delta = great results but gave warning on future earnings that it may not go up as much as expected. That was enough to drop it and others by 8%.
IAG is not in great shape with its massive debt mountain and implications of possible future takeovers.
Any mention of levelling off in future earnings and this stock will be dumped.

Heathrow reported 6.7m passengers for December nearly same as in 2019.
For 2023 as a whole 79.1m just shy of 80.9m for 2019
Passengers down for domestic down12% EU down 5% Asia Pasific down 14%
Good news North America up 6%

How low can we go, back in the lower range. I'm hoping 1.30-1.40 between this turbulence. LTHs on LSE seem to be getting frustrated especially when you consider an index fund like S&P has probably outperformed their holdings.

Still would be a volatility play, although Ezj, Ryanair and US airlines seem to be making good recovery, I don't like being left in the dark over M&As and debt. Would be a gamble rather than calculated risk of which the US has presented plenty of opportunity in tech stocks atm.

Just for balance these are great times to top up. Notoriously tough quarter but holding well. Those investing now id fully expect by Q3 to be 20 per cent plus up imo. Remember this is a covid recovery stock. In excess of 7 pounds per covid. On its way back and nil brainer really or as good odds you will ever get in investing.

It seems to be on a trend, where it drops into next quarter results, then rises on the results to get it back to where it was before the drop.

With crude down and 737 max issue of which IAG don’t own any? I thought IAG would be on the rise today but alas.

My thinking is IAG will either sit in limbo or go down short/medium term.

It's their main hub of over 200 aircraft so depending on time of day will see plenty of them. Was it near Xmas though as Xmas parking needs to be planned ahead as naturally will be a low utilisation of aircraft period .

Iberia is a concern for me. I was in Madrid last month and was astonished by the amount of Aircraft on the ground.

We don't currently fly them but did sign up to ordering them back in Oct 22 when IAG's shareholders approved a firm order for 50 737-8-200s and 737-10s, with options for 100 more. Will hit Ryan for sure but be interesting how the market react to IAG.

The US airline regulator has ordered the temporary grounding of some 171 Boeing 737 Max 9 jets after an outer section of one of the planes fell off during an Alaska Airlines flightI wonder how many other airlines will be affected until these get cleared to fly again.Knock on effect on share price Monday perhaps.
