Errrrrm....why do they need another presentation, about the presentation they made at the Capital Markets day ???

Unless he is being asked to clear up the mess the CEO made of the video ?

Get ready for another big drop as they tell us investors are the last on their priority list again.

· Return on Invested Capital of 13% - 16%;
· Leverage (net debt/EBITDA) of less than 1.8x over the cycle;
· Commitment to dividends once our balance sheet and investment plans are secure.

M1 they don't just pick an airline out of a hat they want to buy. They look at the whole revenue potential and long term benefits. In any case it's still a sideshow at the mo. Re performance the one I suggest you look at is the 6 six years pre covid. BA alone broke their all time profit records every year and the grouper reached 7 pounds. This as most know is a recovery stock. It's done well this year and in most people's eyes will double over the next two.

Take a look at the 5 year chart and while you're at it also look at his capital markets day video presentation.....i is awful.

The BoD lack any vision for IAG and their only strategy is to keep buying airlines, when they already have substantial debt.
It makes no sense.

Mik he became CEO in 2020 around covid end and to be fair it's up from a pound in recent year ie 50 per cent. Thats pretty good and industry slowly recovering

You wouldn't think so, looking at the performance of the share price
Let's not forget, the majority of his shares have been awarded to him for being CEO.
So free money.

If you look at the charts since he became CEO , it has never really recovered.

Louis holds approximately 1.7m shares so sure does want to see it improve. Sean is impressive at BA and as largest airline in the group is reassuring.

Quote.
Unless of course Luis Gallego doesn't want the share price to improve ???

Well he certainly does not want to put his own money into the company via buying shares, certainly has his snout deep in the trough for the free handouts, on performance!!!!

Time for the CEO to go.

On performance alone , his tenure has been miserable but his constant need to buy other airlines is baffling.

TAP would be a disatster for IAG.

Reduce debt and focus on restoring dividends.

It isn't rocket science and RR are demonstrating what a positive impact this can have on the share price

Unless of course Luis Gallego doesn't want the share price to improve ???

Imo we will see a div payment but around the 2p marker. Still a step in the right direction as confidence slowly returns. Was expecting higher share price by now but geo politics and premium traffic levels are main obstacles imo. V Confident we will see a quicker recovery from where we are in 2024. .... and for me personally holding majority long term as cant see this staying under 2 by mid 24

The Times 'more flights get short shrift from investors'
IAG flagged 8% increase in capacity
Margins 12 to 15%

Personaly I think it's good to limit increasing capacity to 8% as future is unpredictable. $9b to be spent on new aircraft will be to replace old inefficient ones.

12 to 15 % margin is excellent too.

Trying to avoid airlines companies, it's a struggling sector. Money moved to healthcare sectors eg APH
