01/3/2020 09:15 | hamhamham129 Feb '20 - 19:26 - 13291 of 13300 0 0 0 China has official death rate of 2-3% And the Diamond Princess was lower according to matey above.... your point ? Decent containment, and health of the population will determine the outcome. One of the passengers onboad that ship said it was no worse than Flu he had previously. So stick to that comparison and the comparable death rate.. not even close currently and nor will they be. | bennodean
01/3/2020 08:53 | Here we go , as predicted | 1 nhs
01/3/2020 07:11 | I booked a last minute holiday and arrived at gran canaria yesterday. Lovely weather (after cancelling a trip to italy) | hamhamham1
01/3/2020 03:15 | Very sad news this morning. The first evidence, of real death rate, is now emerging, from the Dimond Princess. They are truly staggering, considering all the 600 passengers, who caught the virus have had medical care, and heaps are still very, very, sick. The death rate is now 7 or 1.15% What is so terrifying, total fatalities are growing on a daily basis. The First passengers died around ten days ago. We are already running at 11 times the normal death rate, of the flu. We must start to protect are families and friends above all else. | 1 nhs
29/2/2020 22:03 | In the sad event I do catch it then I'll let you know so you can be really happy. | spacedust

29/2/2020 20:42 | Virus fears overshadow strong IAG results | m1k3y1
29/2/2020 19:56 | Anyone booked a last minute holiday in the past few weeks? Seems to me even if the death rate is pretty low its going to be very tough indeed for IAG. This drop is fully justified and likley to get worse. IMHO it's a clear buying opportunity that I will be taking advantage of this week. I'm going in with 1/3 of my intended investment of 3pc of my portfolio on monday afternoon or maybe Tuesday and I'll follow with the rest as it starts to recover. | dround87
29/2/2020 19:40 | Ok. I've read here so many times posters stating only 1% which is simply not true if you do the math. Iran is closer to 10%...... Monday will be bloodbath part 2. Governments won't cut rates or inject cash right now. They need that option if there is a global recession | spacedust
29/2/2020 19:26 | China has official death rate of 2-3% | hamhamham1
29/2/2020 18:38 | Iran - 45 dead 600 cases = 7.5% Italy - 30 dead 1000 cases = 3% Only China has a death rate of 1% amazing | spacedust
29/2/2020 18:31 | Italy over 1000 cases Iran nearly 1000 cases South Korea 3000 plus UK will have in excess of 100 cases under current projection. So far 25 or so cases | spacedust
29/2/2020 17:30 | Self employed loss of wages, loss of productivity, companies burning cash in bank, etc | hamhamham1
29/2/2020 17:24 | Not every person needs a hospital bed , some will have a bad cold and fight it off, however it's the self isolation that will kill the economy | milliecusto
29/2/2020 16:40 | That’s 40% in a hospital bed for weeks plus every ICU bed for hundreds of miles | 1 nhs
29/2/2020 16:39 | Here we go Look at these truly scary numbers. Then work on the assumption their are : ZERO HOSPITAL BEDS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY //////////////////// Italy is the European country most affected by the coronavirus. Twenty-one people have so far succumbed in Italy to the coronavirus, Covid-19. The number of contaminations has reached 821. According to the most recent data collected by Italian authorities, 412 infected people show little or no symptoms. They are not hospitalized and are placed in quarantine at home. In addition, 345 people are hospitalized, including 64 in intensive care. The number of healed people is 46 so far. | 1 nhs
29/2/2020 16:36 | Firstly, it can't be a chance of zero if there are beds available.Secondly, cases of coronavirus in the UK won't pass 100. | gaffer73
29/2/2020 16:33 | Number of hospital beds in the United Kingdom (UK) 2000-2017 Whereas in 2000, there were over 241 thousand beds in the UK, by 2017 this figure was approximately 167.6 thousand. This means over this sixteen-year period there were over 70 thousand fewer hospital beds in the UK. ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT ALL NON EMERGENCY ADMISSIONS ARE CANCELLED A FAIR GUESS IS 50,000 FREE AVAILABLE BEDS, ON DAY ONE. HOWEVER EACH SICK PATIENT REQUIRES THAT BED FOR WEEKS TO DIE OR RECOVER. FREE BEDS FOR 60 MILLION U.K. POPULATION AFTER WEEK 4 : 10,000 CHANCE OF YOU, OR YOUR FAMILY GETTING A PLACE IN HOSPITAL IS ZERO THE SAME CHANCE AS IN THE TRIRD WORLD | 1 nhs
29/2/2020 16:08 | There more cases in UK. | spacedust
29/2/2020 13:11 | The main thing is the authorities are trying to stop it becoming as common as the common flu. Else if it does then obviously there would be many times more deaths. That is unarguable. | hamhamham1
29/2/2020 13:09 | THIS NHS LIST WILL RUN INTO 100 PAGES :: by the end of the month. Lockdown areas in northern Italy: in Lombardy: Codogno, Castiglione d’Adda, Casalpusterlengo, Fombio, Maleo, Somaglia, Bertonico, Terranova dei Passerini, Castelgerundo and San Fiorano in Veneto: Vo’ Euganeo Special care zones in South Korea: Daegu Cheongdo | 1 nhs
29/2/2020 12:38 | The Chinese realised they had people dying by the hundreds months ago. That’s why they acted in the way they did shutting down the whole country. Pressure soon built, ( as it will everywhere else in the world ) to get the economy moving again. That’s where we are today. Unfortunately for the Chinese, just as workers return to work ,the virus surges, at the very time that the rest of the world, discovers true infection and death rates, in their own countries. World wide panic and depression ensues. | 1 nhs |
