06/10/2018 17:21 | Can't disagree Essential. That's why they are expanding Level I guess. | m1k3y1
06/10/2018 17:09 | m1, I've never travelled on easyJet, not a mind to say Ryanair, but younger people seem to decide heavily on price. I suppose it's a sign of the times with many having either student loans, long after leaving Uni, credit card debt, car loans, large mortgages or high rents. If you look at a UK example, in pubs JDW is booming, in clothes Primark now the second largest retailer, Aldi, Lidl in food etc. And I would assume this is a Europe wide growing trend. | essentialinvestor
06/10/2018 17:03 | It generally recovers after a sharp drop essential. RYA not doing as well as IAG but seems to rebound all the time. No explanation for it to be honest. | m1k3y1
06/10/2018 16:55 | I can only go on what they say atm, even the lower end of guidance is Euro 1.2 Billion. However, there may be another guidance cut. It's a case does the price reflects this, or not. The RYA share price recovered more sharply than I anticipated this week, I was looking to add lower. | essentialinvestor
06/10/2018 16:45 | Interesting to note though, that IAG have been buying back more LSE shares than Bolsa. Maybe this is intentional. | m1k3y1
06/10/2018 16:44 | Load factor is always deceiving essential. You can have a 100% load factor and still be losing money . | m1k3y1
06/10/2018 16:42 | Monty, need to look at the RYA numbers in fairness - September passenger numbers UP 11%, load factor 97. I hoped it would dip under £11, see what happens next week. | essentialinvestor
06/10/2018 16:32 | Brexit sword rattling at the moment. It will be fine.Figures a couple of weeks time.I see Ryanair offering cheap flights trying to get passengers back, don't think it will work this time. | montyhedge
06/10/2018 13:24 | Thanks essential The FT EU drafts tough contingency plans for no-deal Brexit Quote "European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker said he expected the EU would reach a Brexit deal with Britain in November if it fails to do so this month." | m1k3y1
06/10/2018 13:06 | Monty, FT lead story, Monday may be grim?. | essentialinvestor
05/10/2018 13:56 | Don't think below 600p could be wrong, that would put them on a p.e 5.5.I think 615p is the low. But no one rings a bell saying this is the low BUY, lol. | montyhedge
05/10/2018 13:28 | Why interesting Essential ? | m1k3y1
05/10/2018 13:14 | Monty, around 5.90 looks an interesting area. | essentialinvestor
05/10/2018 09:01 | Count me in neil. | m1k3y1
05/10/2018 08:50 | Should this share price go any lower this company could end up in private ownership! Should any bank wish to lend me £12 billion I would buy it....they'd get their money back within about 5-6 years. | neilrich
05/10/2018 08:46 | The buyback is all but complete, I'd imagine that the €500 million was split equally between LSE and Bolsa, however the lower volumes in Madrid and the 25% of daily volume restriction has meant that the Spanish fell behind. | neilrich
05/10/2018 08:23 | No purchases on the LSE ? | m1k3y1

05/10/2018 07:37 | Interims in a couple of weeks, dividend increase 10% to 15% I expect. 500m buyback program nearly complete. Will they announce more buybacks. Sitting on lots of cash.I think gift from the stock market gods at this price. | montyhedge
04/10/2018 17:07 | IAG has 8B , probably closer to 9B cash in the bank by now. Market Cap of circa 13B Profit after tax December 17 of 2018.00 IAG’s overall operating profit for the six months to June 30 rose by 17.4% to €1.15 billion as total revenue grew by 3.1% to €11.2 billion. Current share price is ridiculously cheap . | m1k3y1
04/10/2018 16:37 | RYA closed up, perhaps I'm backing the wrong horse, I once thought about RYA, but was put off by the 1% stamp duty! | neilrich
04/10/2018 15:29 | I'm filling my boots, buy when they are scared, sell when they are greedy. Figures couple of weeks time. Looking for a increase in dividend about 15%. | montyhedge
04/10/2018 15:21 | Incredibly good value, when its bounces it will rebound big. | montyhedge
04/10/2018 15:09 | Thanks Neil so hopefully it will start to turn soon .... | nedhammers1
04/10/2018 13:02 | I shall expand upon my previous post...IAG prospective P/E after the buyback is 5.9, RYA P/E 10.98. Which has the better brands? Which company has the better management? Which company pays the better dividend? | neilrich |
