Arrived in Beijing flight was full, no spare seats, well in business anyway.

Both Iberia and Aer Lingus fly to New York, I doubt whether IAG have lost their crown.

Should you wish to compare Norwegian from the UK with BA, then I'd imagine that BA are still streets ahead.

Just saying, but I agree whole heartedly that IAG are more profitable and has a balanced portfolio an great company, one of the best that the Market completely undervalues..... I see oil is remaining around 85 dollars. Can see this hitting at least 580 that Monty called a while back. Will rise back up,but not till oil retraces

Are Norwegian making a profit on that route, lets see if they survive.

I can't agree more, but the Market for some reason does not see the obvious with IAG otherwise the share price would be 1000 and above tbh

Saw this ned. It provides a good positive for IAG to try and buy Norwegian BUT let's not forget, IAG / BA will be making larger profits on the JFK route than Norwegian due to the higher fares they charge.

As I stated in an earlier post, it doesn't matter how many passengers you carry, it all comes down to how much profit you are making and Norwegian are struggling.

Norwegian have overtaken BA for long haul flights to New York. Think IAG have to buy Norwegian, makes perfect sense. Price might drop again tomorrow!

One thing higher oil price puts smaller airlines out of business. They have not got the capital to hedge.

Yes, oversold of course, oil dropping helps sentiment. Best thing Walsh did not bidding for Norwegian.Figures 26th Oct will get us back on on track.

Alp, I very naively dismissed some of your concerns on Brexit
in the run up to the referendum. To say I've had a change of mind
would be an understatement. It's looks an unmitigated disaster,
particularly with the global political shift since. Got that very wrong.
