The prospective P/E is now 6.1, or 5.9 when you factor in the buyback.

Judging by today's continued downtrend, I don't think there's much confidence in IAG through these choppy times Monty, cometh the update I fear the Market will not like it, I have bad memories of the last one.....

Figures in a couple of weeks I'm looking for dividend increase from 12.5c to 14.5c P.e 6.75 and record revenue. These now are now the bargain of the year. Would be nice If buybacks continue then I see back to 700p if the oil price drops. All these misses by Norwegian airlines today is good news IAG won't bid. EasyJet misses, perhaps passengers turning to IAG.

Iran have said Today that they wish to talk with Trump, sense shall prevail.

Rewind 12 months and markets were concerned about global tensions with North Korea.

IAG is a very well run business with the best brands in the industry, some excellent numbers to come. IAG shall continue to generate cash despite the spike in the oil price.

Thanks Neil, I think the profit will be important that are attached to those figures. Walsh might surprise us as he is adding new routes all the time ..... Oil price is hammering all the airlines at present, but we are hedged. Think Trumps sanctions on Iran may bite hard or will try and force Trump back around the negotiating table ...

Ned, Today's traffic and capacity stats? Some very healthy increases for Iberia and Aer Lingus, although BA a little disappointing.

Q3 results 3 weeks on Friday, hopefully the best ever for Q3, I think the numbers shall be good, my only concern being their forward looking statement, should they decide to air any future concerns.

On 12 September, Aer Lingus announced two new North American routes that will start next summer. Its flights between Dublin and Minneapolis-St. Paul commence on 8 July 2019 while services to Montreal start on 8 August 2019. Both routes will operate daily, all year round. From summer 2019, Aer Lingus will fly direct from Ireland to 15 North American destinations serving 17 transatlantic routes.

This month, British Airways announced new routes between Heathrow and Osaka, Gatwick and Kos and London City and Munich. In addition, the airline will make a multi-million-pound investment in its short haul business class cabin, Club Europe. The spend is part of British Airways' current £4.5bn investment plan and will focus on enhanced food and drink.

Hong Kong based international cabin crew based in the city terminated with bare minimal notice what a way to treat loyal staff and yes from a very profitable company disgraceful. Walsh and Cruz hang your heads in shame .

These will bounce, with Ryanair strikes, another budget airline bust. IAG will clean up. If oil price falls, 650p in a flash, bullish again from the No.1 trader. Lol
