WB - I don't think I will be able to go, I'm not sure I will even be in the UK on 26th.
The presentation and the chance to talk face to face with the management would be more interesting than the results. I do not expect the results to give us much information, as everything is hinging on the Dresden production facility and ramping up production over the next 6 - 12 months. I doubt that anything interesting will be reflected in the figures until this time next year.

You can tell she's standing from this shot?

From the way she leans forward 1.7 degrees it's plain to see she's sitting (on a bale of straw actually, hence the background).

because she appears to standing out-of-doors rather than be seated, obviously.

This product would be fantastic for long haul flights. No more stiff necks from trying to get the angle right. Rent them on short haul, think of the added revenues for airlines. How much are they retailing for, any idea?

forthurst - Why?

Its nice to see an enduser device after all, but to be realistic, shouldn't the model also be deploying a dog and a white stick?

It's the 3GSM exhibition in Barcelona this week. MED will be there, so let's hope it helps to increase their profile and awareness of the company and product. Last year's 3GSM show was certainly a success for MED.

Nice to see the recent rises continuing today!

This one nearly hit the ground but is now well above the radar and heading back into the firmament supported by levels of trading never before seen on this stock. So with MMs creaming off 10% on the split, the day traders should be held at bay. Lets hope after all the teething troubles with technical and management issues this one is now firmly based for growth.

Am not a chartist but I do watch them to look for confirmations.

Momentumn looks good and ADVFNs True Strength Indicator is now giving a green light signal so we could be on a run here - renewed strength in the share price should give any employees with share options an added incentive to really get the sales side into gear.

Hugely difficult to put a meaningful value on a company in this position but it's certainly not in a market the bottom is likely to drop out of nor even be cyclical.

New article here:

I liked this bit:

However, in late December MED announced it had landed its first-ever bulk supple deal, worth £2m, to provide its polymer displays to an unnamed Asian consumer-products manufacturer.

Chief executive Bill Miller said yesterday the company had secured a second direct sales deal since. The three deals, signed in little over a month, are said to be worth "in excess of $10m".

So that's three deals rather than the two that we knew about!

it goes on.....

Miller said "a fair proportion" of sales in the near future would be made through distributors, with the company lacking the resources to have its own sales force in all potential markets.

"The advantage for us here is that China is such a huge market, with many regions within it, so for a company like MED to absorb the cost of setting up multiple sales offices is just not feasible at this early stage."

It is currently setting up a new production line in Dresden, which will provide the company with enough capacity for £50m in annual sales. Miller said the set-up process was on schedule, and expected volume orders to be shipped from July.

Still looking good to me, let's hope that there are no hold-ups now in production.

Cheers!

TCM
