23/10/2006 16:49 | Fair price is about 14pence, but of course the mm as usual are covering their backsides! | jotoha1
23/10/2006 16:46 | Fidelity probably took the bulk of the placing, so in profit already, it's known as screwing the weak !!!! | jotoha1
20/10/2006 15:57 | hmmm - interesting MM buying plus Fidelity taking a large stake for the first time - something about to happen here? | obarmoth
13/10/2006 10:00 | I suspect it will take them many months to get the facility up and running and maybe even longer to iron out the teething problems affecting yield at higher volumes etc. I can forsee many more cash burning quarters ahead before the light begins to appear at the end of the tunnel. One to avoid at present IMO | bryant551
12/10/2006 18:59 | As can be seen from this page:- The Fraunhofer Institute is for leading edge engineering research, and very far from a Chinese sweatshop; in other words, the sort of establishment that should exist in this country, but doesnt. I find it hard to believe the Fraunhofer would be offering just manufacturing capabilty anymore than Cambridge would. At minimum they must be adding value by developing a viable manufacturing process, if not further basic r & d. I cannot see oems wanting samples until they know a viable production capability exists. I therefore have the suspicion the Fraunhofer will be producing in sample volumes only. Personally, after the placing of shares at 20p, I have little regard for the integrity of either the Chairman or MD of this outfit, so I dont think investors other than a favoured few will ever have the faintest idea what is happening. | forthurst

06/9/2006 09:57 | After another quick calculation , fair value after the placing and assuming they continue at their current pace then it's 7.5pence max, and likely to get lower..this could quite easily disapear! | jotoha1
06/9/2006 09:28 | Skyracer:> You any views on Braveheart Ventures ? If so would be interesed. If you do not wish to post can you give a contact (phone or e-mail) I will stay live here for a bit. Thanks in advance | pugugly
06/9/2006 09:09 | Well nobody should be surprised (re my post 19). The Scottish technology sector has a structural problem, basically being run by academics, venture capitalists and local enterprise companies, none of whom really know anything about manufacturing. Making working prototypes or even pre-production batches proves nothing. So as they say on Dragons Den "your wasting my time, I'm not investing in you, count me out". PS People may point to Wolfson, but it is an exception being profitable and stable BEFORE it floated. | skyracer
