03/5/2006 14:41 | From the latest full year results published 22 Feb 06, it can be seen that there are 12M authorised but unissued ordinary shares. From the cash flow analysis it can be deduced they have between 1-2 years depending on new manufacturing setup costs before they will need to call on the market. Presumably they are hoping to have demonstrated some significant progress before doing so, to raise as much per share as possible. But it seems reasonable for a small operation to call on the market in order to gear up operations, if they have something for which a genuine demand exists. I am not predicting that this will happen, but even if it did, the authorised capital would still be only £29M, which would not be a lot for a company with significant prospects in hitech manufacturing. As they have taken on board a new MD and recently an FD, they appear to have made some painful but necessary adjustments to their management team. ================ 4. 29/4/2006 05:57 | PUGUGLY There's really not much activity on this board! The product does work, but there have been a lot of problems manufacturing it in volume as far as I can determine. This company has been on my watchlist for a long time, and I am waiting for a good entry point. They have had manufacturing problems and have been burning cash to sort things out - last time I looked at the figures, it looked like there was a chance they might run out of cash before it all comes good. There is always the possibility of raising more, but it looks like a very risky punt to me. Last I heard, they had made good progress on the manufacturing side, and had shipped product to fill their one and only order (for night-vision binoculars or somthing similar). If the manufacturing gets fully sorted, and they get a few more orders, then this could really take off. They were at some mobile-phone show in Barcelona fairly recently, and the product went down well by all accounts. The annual report was published this week, but is not available on their website yet, so I haven't seen it yet. Still on my watchlist, but waiting for a bit of news before I part with my money! | nixmif

03/6/2005 08:41 | Yet another Scottish failure developing? Rushing to become a plc and pushing products into production before they are ready. Very expensive mistake to make. Still, advisors and directors always manage to get away with plenty of loot. No doubt one of the LEC's also had a grubby finger in this pie too. Remember Memory Corp, Magnum Power, NMT, Calluna, Creos, and plenty others I cant remember at the moment? No wonder I never invest in scottish companies (Alf's EDG excepted). | skyracer
