The use of AI is going to not only de-skill the use of LUS in Covid-19 cases but it is also going to give much quicker and accurate results than xrays or scans

Increasingly LUS is becoming the go to test to determine putting patients on a mechanical ventilator

Training a nurse to do such an AI assisted test should imo be very easy and also quick

Timbo003, well spotted indeed. My own view is with respect to COVID and be it Caption or MED, AI powered lung ultrasound has missed the boat and is probably not going to become a major revenue source for either.

I agree it really is astonishing. The concern always in a situation like this is someone comes along and scoops the company up for a song. With the IP Group in such a dominant position on the shareholder register that is much less of a worry. If GE or someone approached, you can be sure they would only be tempted at a price that was some function of fair value. In the meantime more for us to nibble away at !

Never any drama with MED they just get on with it. Quality Company in just the right area and completely ignored by the market. This is a complete head scratcher to me.

You could not want for a better partner and it is good to see that in the marketing of the new product the AI aspects are very prominent. I have been looking at MED for about a year now and so far I have to say I am impressed with how management have delivered on key milestones within their predicted time targets.

Hopefully the OEM launch is still scheduled for this year although with C-19 I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if it is Q1 next year.

It is amazing that this business is not more widely followed. If they are going to hit their first revenue targets from ScanNav then we should be getting an announcement on who the OEM partner is in the next month or so. Also, as you pointed out, very hard to pick up stock without putting upward pressure on the share price. There are very few sellers in the market. To my mind this is clearly a stock with multi bagger potential.

There are a number of UK Universities that offer accredited training courses on various well known brands of Ultrasound kit

Might explain why they have not been doing so well

re 84 - Possibly a terrible broker - if using a broker - If any value left here i might offer 8p tomorrow to give the MM a quick profit - but is there any value??
