13 million cash and only valued at 6 million. This is a great stock and should atleast double in the next coming months.

Great results.

Have been looking at this one for a while now, the technology and it's application looks interesting.

It also has some big backers, 3i being one.

Is it true that this company has 15 million in the bank (can someone confirm this)??????

According to ADVFN there is only 3.5 million shares in issue - 2.2 mill owned by 3i and 530,000 by invesco, leaving approx 770,000 shares in free float both acquired at 65 pence and I belive they still hold (can some confirm).

Based on this evidence this stock seems to be tightly held and very illiquid (which is a slight worry).

I also beleive that there is order for 10,000 units from a Japanese company pending - again can some confrim.

All in all looks interesting and at a market cap of 6 million could be a good medium to long term investment.

Good rise over the past few weeks for what seemed no reason, nice to see the wafers going into production. Hopefully we should see some revenue and contracts coming in now we have a production facility.

I wouldn't expect the company to put out an RNS with this type of information which is effectively a mini trading update . Financial journalists have lots of sources so its fairly common to find ,as a shareholder that you get such news first from the press.
As it happens I was with a friend yesterday who subscribes to 12 different tip sheets and quite a few financial magazines and I was quite pleased to see that according to the indexes which each incorporated none of them appear to have written anything yet about MED . Thats fine at this stage because it gives smaller shareholders a chance to build up a decent holding by picking up small lots on the bad days.
Once the cavalry arrive in the shape of the institutional smaller company funds you end up bidding for stock and generally paying much more than you want to . This type of news does bring stocks like MED on to the institutional radar screens so I would not be too surprised to read within the next few weeks that some of the smarter ones in this sector such as Artemis (also based I believe in Edinburgh ) have picked up some chunky lines ,if they can get them of course - they won't be getting mine .
