26/1/2007 10:54 | Anybody got any idea what that 367k 'X' trade was about? | thecurrymonster
25/1/2007 12:33 | I don't generally discuss trades, but I have taken a punt on these in the belief that their prospects do indeed look better for some time. I'm trusting the c/e's belief that there is genuine interest in this product, and that it is simply a matter of time before capacity in their new plant is ramped up. | bookbroker
25/1/2007 11:02 | Thanks BB and the fat lady's mate | wild bill
25/1/2007 10:42 | WB 4 market makers each with a 5p spread, this morning all at 36-41, each has been keeping their spread the same, but when they don't quote the same price the spread narrows...you would still have 38.5p middle if two were 38-43 and two 34-39. May mean they all have fairly balanced books and no one is working an order if they are all on the same price? | iaoutfls
25/1/2007 10:37 | It probably means there is very little stock avaliable, widen the the spread and it discourages buyers. | bookbroker
25/1/2007 10:35 | CM. My sense of humour, sorry. What I did notice was that the spread WAS tightening but now it's wider than ever, what does that mean? Or is it just the 'morning' spread..... | wild bill
25/1/2007 10:26 | Wild Bill, What big sell? My screen is showing just one trade of 16 shares this morning. | thecurrymonster
25/1/2007 09:51 | Big sell this morning and the biggest spread in a long while, what does that mean? | wild bill
24/1/2007 15:31 | Price now ticked up past the August level. :-) | thecurrymonster
23/1/2007 16:49 | Interesting trades today - another 100k reported at the close. Showing as a sell. So that's 2 x 100k sells showing, and the price has risen. I suspect they were buys rather than sells. | thecurrymonster
23/1/2007 16:42 | let's hope so Superhero Si. | thecurrymonster
23/1/2007 16:29 | I wonder if it will smash through the August price level tomorrow. | superhero si
23/1/2007 12:58 | Something's up, not just the price..... | wild bill
23/1/2007 12:51 | Trades are showing sells outnumbering buys by quite a lot today - in particular a 100k sell is showing, yet the price ticks up. Doesn't make much sense to me unless the 100k was a buy, or there is a large buy order being filled. nice to see another tick-up anyway. | thecurrymonster
23/1/2007 12:37 | There it goes again..... | wild bill
23/1/2007 11:49 | Wild Bill sorry wrong page; it was in the press releases: | forthurst
22/1/2007 18:19 | I have been on every page on their website but I couldn't find the 'start date' for Paul, no big issue. I agree, a strong team! The comment regarding S & M is a personal thing, I don't believe sales and marketing go together, although it's no big deal with a Company this size. | wild bill
22/1/2007 17:44 | Wild Bill, I dont understand your point re S & M. This is what I was looking at: It looks like a strong team to me. | forthurst
22/1/2007 16:42 | forthurst - I bow to your superior research skills. I trawled their website and couldn't find when Paul was appointed so I called them last week and asked. The boss answered and confirmed what you've posted, you're right, he started last July, good timing I'd say and he has a good track record. There's only on thing I don't agree with, you can't sell and market with the same team. Salesmen sell, marketers spend the money the sales team make on keeping the wheel turning. Often there's a conflict but I'm sure Mr Van Eynde gets on well with Paul ;-) Re. your bit, "As MED have not set up a production line, it's still early days" I also agree but it's better to sell then build as opposed to build then sell. All in all it looks like things are on track and these little rises are giving me itchy fingers, I still haven't bought yet. Bill | wild bill
22/1/2007 16:25 | Not so quiet tomorrow hopefully. | superhero si
22/1/2007 13:39 | Wild Bill, according to the MED site, a Sales and Marketing director was appointed last July. As MED have not set up a production line, it's still early days, and as the aforementioned has set up two S & M organisations from scratch before, I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt, but he may be looking to appointing agents rather than paid employees, at least until turnover would justify the expense of Sales offices etc. | forthurst
22/1/2007 12:51 | ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz..... | thecurrymonster
22/1/2007 12:33 | quiet in here | wild bill
18/1/2007 15:05 | Thanks Monster and thanks for the update. Re. this bit, "Miller added the new members of staff are in operator, administration and technician roles, and we anticipate adding to their numbers in the coming months." Will he appoint sales and marketing people I wonder, or don't you need them for this kind of product. | wild bill |
