Piece in the FT today about low level batteries being able to be charged by WIFI. Did not say stackable and mainly for use in Supermarkets / warehouse for pricing / locating goods.

It is, of course a 10 bagger or bust investment. My (very small) investment is in the money. It did shoot up this time last year only to crash back down again so there is no point in getting too excited.

Even so - its grant money - again - and its all the eggs in one basket. So if not successful what happens? Its a binary bet now and not an investable case.

We either win - or some professors will be looking for the next lifestyle organisation so they can carry on their research.

As an Aside Johnson Matthey secured its first plant of the commercialisation of it eLNO battery material which will be used in electric vehicles

The CMD was held to enable investors to meet management and see the newly opened facilities in Hampshire. The roadmap for the future was outlined, where solid state batteries are important to EV development, but also for other early adopters, such as consumer electronics and domestic appliances. Guest speakers were Asad Farid, Analyst, Berenberg, on battery technology and the costs. And, Adam Collins, Analyst Liberum, about the EV road map.
