Local issues have been resolved in Peru and the company is fully producing now.20kbopd (all oil), and should rise to 25kbopd in the next few weeks. Both I3E and PTAL are fantastic value.

Great to see this move from I3E.Dividends are what will drive share prices.PTAL is very interesting. Huge cash flows. One of the large institutional investors is pushing hard for dividends. They held a live twitter q&a tonight and spoke about wanting a $150m dividend this year and going forward, equal to a 40% yield.

I think it's great that I3E are doing this.

A monthly dividend used to be the norm with Canadian oil companies. It is slowly coming back over there now that the long oil and gas bear market appears to be over and the cash is flowing freely again.

The other thing they might consider is a reverse split. Many institutional investors in North America are prohibited from buying stock priced at less than $5 for some reason, regardless of the market cap.

You will have to be a holder at each XD date to get each individual dividend amount

Will this mean we get ten divi dates or just one as normal and you will still get ten even if you have sold them part way through year.

I'm not missing him/her, redhill, but if they were here, I think it would be worth drawing attention to the respective most recent acquisitions

From presentation, I3E acquired Cenovus's assets with similar outstanding metrics to their Canada entry in 2020

Status: Operator (83%)
Production ($/boepd) $6,381
Reserves ($/2P boe) $0.68

Kistos in Greater Laggan
"Kistos expects production from the assets to be acquired to average approximately 6,000 boe/d (net) during 2022 with 2P reserves as at the effective date of the Acquisition of 6.2 MMboe (operator’s estimate)". Cost $125MM, potentially rising to $165MM

status: 20% minority interest
Production ($/boepd) $20,833 (assuming no rise)
Reserves ($/2P boe) $20.16

Of course you could add caveats. Benriach exploration is not factored into this, while not all Cenovus's assets were onstream, so would require more time and capex. Nonetheless, I3E decom commitments would also be lower.

Overall, Cenovus acquisition seems a great piece of business as each day passes and the unit prices rise

That is why I am invested heavily here.I work on 65 dollars & 2.75 dollars oil & gas.Thank you, Tony, please do post such nuggets here as well.Gl all----tonynorstrom1, Posts: 2,244, Price: 15.20RE: RNSToday 10:42I think good news for investors and should support the share price - a good piece of thinking outside the box by the BOD imo although i'm sure some will find cause for complaint.Just to demonstrate how progressive and secure the dividend should be - I plugged in $55 and $2.50 (Oil & Gas Price) to see what would happen if there was a bit if a down turn - if i3e slashed Capex to $12m just to cover maintenance and increased the payout to 40% (which they have discussed before) - then they could still payout this dividend and have cash left over to cover debt repayment. Quite a margin of safety and not many company specific risks short of an accounting scandal.
