04/2/2022 13:59 | We have over 1 billion shares in circulation.Yet the selling is very minimal as if most holders are very well researched & know what is coming in February.May it continue.30 minutes for Canada to open will it give us another leg up?PoO advancing towards the 100 dollars magic target. 7 or 8 dollars & all oil producers will get that boost.Gl all | goodday1
04/2/2022 13:34 | Totally agree Sell all North Sea interests for circa £50m cash That would add a further 4-5p per share to our price Stay fully focused on what's delivering I say. | basem1
04/2/2022 13:17 | Strategy is simple, play to your strengths. At current prices they should be looking to focus on maximising Canadian output whilst driving efficiency gains. I would prefer they leave NS in bottom drawer. If anyone is interested, they are always welcome to approach and do a deal. They should only proceed after a third party validates it.Cash | cashandcard
04/2/2022 12:52 | Ok, thanks Ed. Took a quick look at the I3E website. Looks like Repsol submitted an environmental plan back in 2020 for development of the neighbouring Tain field which is presumably still waiting for approval. So I guess drilling an appraisal well for Serenity is all subject to regulatory approval. Not sure about timescales for achieving that but maybe govt views will soften if energy prices continue to rise. | moonshot3

04/2/2022 12:35 | Moonshot, It'll remain contingent until there are enough wells drilled into it and funding in place for it to be developed. If it gets to the stage of an FDP with a clear route to production then it can be booked as 2P as there wouldn't be any contingencies left to meet. If little Tain at 8000bopd and 8-18mmbbls can be considered commercially viable, that sets the bar pretty low for Serenity or Minos as a commercial threshold. Serenity is right beside Tain so deve costs won't be wildly different, its quite close to the mature Captain platform too. But fingers crossed it will be large enough to warrant its own FPSO. Certainly worth a pop in my book at both these large targets given I3E's production strength. So if they can establish their model for Serenity and Minos and take it from there. I've seen riskier wells in the NS than Serenity appraisal, not risk free of course, but I'm very much in the drill Serenity camp. Some shareholders here see the NS stuff as too risky, especially with the upside on the Simonette etc. Regards, Ed. | edgein
04/2/2022 12:25 | Ok thanks Edgein - will take a look. Was just wondering whether it would still be commercial to drill / produce at Serenity if it was 1C or 2C and what the financial implications would be. | moonshot3
04/2/2022 11:31 | thank you both | kaos3
04/2/2022 11:30 | Thanks for this, Tony. Do you or Edgein know where we should go to check 1C and 2C resource (mm boe) for Serenity? | moonshot3
04/2/2022 11:26 | Yep, but its not doing any of us any good stuck in the ground! | hoper1
04/2/2022 11:25 | Serenity has some 3c reserves though not 100 mmbbl. Minos high is purely prospective reserves. ie Serenity has a higher certainty of success. That said if Serenity proves up 100 mmbbl - this could triple our market cap. If Minos High meets Company Expectation this could be very significant also at 200mmbbl recoverable. | tonynorstrom1 |
